Good old Adam, the first man. The one to bring sin and death into the foundation of the world. Sometime I wonder why that took place?
Who was hanging out down by the tree of the knowledge of good and evil? What was his relationship relative to the God of creation of the heavens and earth? What power was he in possession thereof?
Gen 2:2,3 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
The eighth day is about to begin and what is the God going to do about; that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: and has the power of, the death?
Hebrews 2:6,7,14
But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him? Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands: Forasmuch then as the children [of the above man] are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through [the] death he might destroy him that had the power of [the] death, that is, the devil;
Where was the devil on the eighth day? What is good old Adam going to do and why?
The death?
Physical?
Spiritual?
Or just, the death?
that through the death he might destroy him that had the power of the death,
Through ?????? Experiencing and being saved out of?? Is that what, through, means? Physical or spiritual or just, the death?
Is this post relative to the Word of God, to the death of the Word made flesh?
