It is quite a mystery to grapple with the idea that prior to creation there was a book of names already recorded in which such would be adopted sons of God.
That such sons although appointed for adoption would be born "under the law," condemned and enslaved by the forces of this world and the judgement of the Law.
That the Law would serve as a master to bring that adopted one to the Christ.
And that God would set the seal of adoption upon that person even while they had yet to proclaim but had the Word in their heart and forming in their mouth.
Such a mystery.
But what is the greatest mystery to me, is why me? There was and is absolutely nothing good that I can hold out as worthy of God's grace. Yet, that unmerited favor laid claim to me, and as redeemed allows me to proclaim Him as my Father.
