Umm not at all read my posts

Calvinists believe that God can and does indeed grant faith in Christ to children.

Some Calvinists do. Some Calvinists don't.

I don't believe God must "grant faith in Christ" to children who can't even speak a word because they're too young to know a word. I simply believe Christ saves them. By His virtue. Period. "Suffer the little children to come unto Me and forbid them not." That's good enough for me, for I believe in the God Whose "mercy endureth for ever" (Found 41 times in Scripture).

What matters is that God grants Faith

Just because they cannot vocalize it does not mean that they actually possess it

The subject is about babies and others who cannot make a decision for Christ.

Some of the posts are way too close to C vs A -

Lets get back to subject

If a newborn baby dies - will he go to Heaven?
Maybe.

Why or why not - or do we even know?
To bring glory to God … unfortunately, I have no clue in this particular case whether God’s perfect Justice, or God’s perfect Mercy is better served at the death of a baby. The same God that drown the generation of Noah, protected Moses floating in a reed basket.

I guess when we get to heaven, the place will be overrun with babies or it won’t. Then we will know.

Maybe thats right, but what basis, grounds would the child go to Glory, on the bases of its own innocence or through being one of Gods chosen sheep that Christ died for and redeemed ?
Honestly, I do not know. God is infinite in knowledge and eternally perfect. If your second query were the case, then not all those who die in infancy go to heaven. However, David's statement in II Samuel seems clear and I'm unaware of other scripture that's specifically relevant to the eternal destiny of those dying in infancy.

Correct because scripture indicates no one is born innocent Job 14:4

Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one.

Job 15:14

What is man, that he should be clean? and he which is born of a woman, that he should be righteous?

Job 25:4

How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?

The word clean here is the word zāḵâ:

to be clean, be pure, be clear

    • (Qal)
      1. to be clean, be pure

      2. to be clear, be justified
a primitive root (compare H2141); to be translucent; figuratively, to be innocent:

However, David's statement in II Samuel seems clear and I'm unaware of other scripture that's specifically relevant to the eternal destiny of those dying in infancy.

But plenty of scripture testify of the eternal destiny of people outside of Christ !

“Let the little ones come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”

The disciples in Jesus day tried to prevent the little ones coming to Him, but many disciples today still haven’t learned the lesson. They are still hindering them.

That’s another reason we have infant baptism, Jesus favoured the little ones and specifically said to not hinder them. So we don’t.

Thats not even relevant. Are you advocating children go to heaven without being saved by Christs Blood shed for their sins ?

No. People are arguing whether or not these babies belong in heaven, but Jesus tells us that The Kingdom of Heaven actually belongs to them, so apparently they are the owners according to Jesus.

I’m not going to argue with Jesus about it.

You must be Born again.

John the Baptist was inside his mother's womb.

If he heard of Jesus and leaped, he could also hear the Gospel.

And did (according to me).

A baby is no more unable to hear the Gospel and be saved than any other naturally born sinner.

If God can open my blind, spiritually dead, heart and mind, He can open a baby's, too, all according to the good pleasure of His own will.

(That's not too CvsA is it?)

If people just roll with what Jesus says, there shouldn’t be any bun fights on this issue.
Trust Jesus words.

For us this was settled 2000 years ago. Can’t believe believers are still arguing about it.

Anyone Christ died for belongs in Heaven in union with Him, race, age, sex isnt and should not be a issue. Now some people are advocating that babies, children, the retarded will enter heaven unredeemed by the blood of Christ, thats error.

Mark 10:14-15, ". . . But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Allow the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. . . .

here is where you stated it

does not seem like I misquoted you at all

Now you have me correctly quoted. You did not, before. It seems you struggle with the word “seems”.

And yes, it really does seem to me Calvinists want to severely limit who can get into Heaven, but I’m happy again to report, “…he that cometh to Me, I will in no wise cast out.”

And there’s where the Calvinist immediately will start objecting with stuff like, “But he must be elect…he must be regenerated first…he might have evanescent faith…he must be whatever, whatever.”

Yes, it sure seems Calvinists are scared of people trusting Christ and being saved. The Jews thought they had salvation under lock and key, too, and that they could keep the Gentiles out. And oh, they got angry when God saved the Gentiles anyway, and tried to kill Paul for preaching Christ to them! Calvinists can’t lock the door to salvation, either.

“…he that cometh to Me, I will in no wise cast out.”
