Do the KJVO accept any other Translation really then?

I don't know anything about a "only position" of Calvin. I know I borrowed a book from a pastor friend many years ago and read his commentary.

You guys come up with lots of things I've never heard of.
I was being somewhat sarcastic. While I leave open the possibility that a person might prefer one (CPTO) view above another, I just made it up.
The Calvinism debate seems to come up everywhere and when it happened on the translations topic, I couldn’t resist the possibility of applying the translation issue to Calvin.

I see what you mean now. I like Calvin, I liked his commentary, and agree with much of what he said.

I just don't agree with his predestination theory. To be honest, after reading his commentary on this, that, and the other, I don't see how he could believe his own theory.

I do use several sources that ascribe to predestination. Occasionally I will use Calvin. I don’t like to quote people who have predestination leanings because I don’t like to have to explain the issue each time I quote them. While few may ever take what is given and go further, I allow for the possibility. There are already plenty of people pushing the idea. There is also plenty of good material to be used outside that topic. I have appreciated your insight on Calvin and baptism. Reading it from the perspective you shared helps it to make a lot more sense.
