THE GREEK CLEARLY READS,HADES IS CAST INTO THE LOF!! There's NO DENYING this! If you don't like it, then I suggest you complain to JOHN, who wrote it at JESUS'command. This IS a doctrine taken from a version because NO CHRISTIAN denies the existence of hell, and reading that hell is thrown into the LOF could lead some to believe hell isn't eternal.

The NT of the KJV is translated from some ancient GREEK-LANGUAGE mss, right? And don't those mss read HADES is cast into the LOF? If the above is true, you have no valid argument.
Yes Roby, they do say hades. That was never the point and you know it. The point is there is no scripture that says gehenna is the LOF. Start a new thread, and we'll go over this fallacy a few more times, then we can start discussing what the lake of fire is, instead of what it is not.

The Mormon church hired some consultants a few yars ago to recomend ways to improve their image. The consultants came up with some ways. We also know and the cults know that if something is said loud enough and long enough people will believe it, lies included.

Some people are trained just like the Moonies to believe what they call heavenly deception. The idea that it doesn't matter what you say as long as you get them there.

ASKJO, is that your doctrine and methodology?

Why are the KJVOist spinning and refusing to give us the scripture to support KJVOism?????????

Stop with the smoke screens and just give us the scripture or admit that KJVOism is not a doctrine and just an opinion with no support. Sigh, can they just answer a simple question with a simple answer without creating a spider web of deceptions and stall tactics?

STOP the spin! I'm interested in the scriptures guys and gals!

Thank you.

There's no Scripture that says Holy Trinity either, but we believe God The Father, God The Son and God The Holy Spirit are all God. By clear implication, gehenna is the LOF.

Feel free to start a new thread if you wish, but there really isn't much left to say about it.

Amazing, I go away for a while, come back and the KJVO debate continues. And, amazingly a lot of the same people are still standing firm. This is a never ending subject--although somewhat interesting to watch.

Nobody has been able to provide verse and passage to indicate the KJV is inspired.

Nobody has been able to tell us which KJV is the inspired version, although many call themselves "KJV 1611" followers, and then read the later versions.

Nobody can explain why English speaking people would be blessed to the point of receiving the only "inspired" version of today.

Nobody can explain what English speaking people used for the time before 1611 (actually before about 1879).

I've been around here for I guess a couple of years or so and these answers still have not been satisfactorily answered.

Interestingly, I listened to a missionary who has won thousands (yes thousands) in Africa to the Lord. They use the NKJV so that they can understand it. They learn English, but they cannot grasp the KJV. He says the NKJV is necessary for their understanding. Are the KJV only crowd saying these Africans are not saved? I certainly hope not.

I still predict that after this generation passes, the NKJV will be the next version of the King James Version line. Maybe with a few minor corrections. Then people will be saying it is a direct descendent of the 1611 (as they do the 1879). They will fight, because it is the only "inspired" English version.

I have actually seen many of the KJVO crowd accept the NKJV without question. The NKJV is a decent translation, no doubt about it, I am just making a prediction here.

It would be interesting to know the history of the 1879 and other versions called the KJV. Did the people accept them when they were printed? I am not a historian, but I would like to hear from one. I am willing to guess that many people rejected the "new versions" until at least a generation passed and they "grew up with it".

This is something common from AA and others here...they have no scriptural support for their position, so they tell us to read this or that, which proves again....NOTHING. It's impossible for them to prove their position of militant KJVOism. That's why none have answered thus far, and never will. They have yet to post one doctrine that MV's denegrate.

Go to "quote" the message

Find the part of the message that has the pix - img blah blah /img

Copy that into your files and then insert it where you would like! Be sure to put the img in [] or it will just print out as text.

Caveat: ANY image inserted into the BB must be smaller than the logo of the BB (upper left corner of each thread).

Our conviction on the KJB is the inerrancy and verbal plenary inspiration of the Scriptures given to us in the English language according to the verses outlioned the multitudes of times that the other side refuses, so it is nothing more than the authorities pushing their views and even transgressing the rules in their effort.
Where does the Hebrew OT and the Greek NT promise a perfect English translation? And where is it stated that the KJV (which ever edition)is it?

You will have to take a deep breath and look in the pile of cow pies near somebody's dairy farm.

It sure feels good to be named among the elect and be called a Christian instead of a KJV 1611 follower.

You wonder why we "haven't"? We have, you reject, we still stand.

The verses are found ion context and harmony with the entirety of Scripture, that CANNOT be said about the mv's, and still be telling the Truth.

NasV: God is "deceived" in Ps 78:36

Nkjv: God is equated with the deceptive practice of the wicked, in CONTEXT?!? Job 24

The KJB is accurate. :D

Ya, I can pull out stuff like that too, from the KJV. God creates evil, Isa 45:7. Whee!
