    Assuming I take a Calvinist stance I could not be made in the image of God because that would negate a total depravity.

    The Image of God is a good thing. You can say well hey 99.999999% depraved.

    Do the math of whats value image of God.

    Some folks say painting is worth a thousand words. Well how many words is a divine image worth?

    Is it so weak that it is easily destroyed?

    We are dealing with two things IMAGE and LIKENESS.

    James 3

    . 9With it we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the likeness of God;

    So you see if you want to keep the notion of being total depraved the image of God has to be totally gone.

    You're incorrect about Calvinism.

    That's not what "totally depraved" means. It means depraved in every natural facility, not missing some facilities.
    To bear God's image in a depraved way means we rule over creatures selfishly (Gen 1:26); not that we lack the ability to rule.
    It means we kill and slander innocents who bear His image, not that our worth drops.
