Dominion vs determinism

The Ken KJV:

Psalm 110:3 Thy people shall be ((made)) willing ((by Thee)) in the day of Thy power.

What power of God do you think is being referred to in that verse?

It says, willing...in the day of....Thy power.

Therefore, God's power has something to do with someone being willing.

In context, what is the verse before it talking about?

Edit: and are they willing because they recognize His power or because He makes them be willing?

But what I have said and the bible is clear about is that God saves those that believe in His risen son.

And every single person that the Holy Spirit regenerates under the hearing of the gospel of Christ show the fruit of that regeneration through faith in the finished work of Christ on their behalf and through repentance of dead works.

If we do not fulfill God's condition for salvation then we will not be saved.

And Christ fulfilled every condition necessary for the salvation of God's elect. And they will be saved, they will believe and repent, because the Holy Spirit regenerates them under the hearing of the gospel of Christ, and grants faith and repentance as fruit of that regeneration.

No it is a false teaching that Augustine brought into the church in the 4th century

You are wrong. The gospel of Christ is not some false teaching that Augustine brought into the church.

The gospel of Christ is God's power unto salvation. (Romans 1:16-17)

God's power, not man's power.

Ken at the end of the day it comes down to were you saved because you are one of the elect or because you freely trusted in God's risen son.

God brought me under the hearing of the gospel of Christ, the Holy Spirit regenerated me, and He granted me the gifts of faith in Christ's finished work and repentance of dead works.

I believed and repented by God's power, not by some power that I somehow or other welled up from within my fallen fleshly body.

Christ being King. The elect in their flesh are enemies of Christ before they are regenerated (Ephesians 2:1-7), yet Christ rules over them, and makes them willing by His power.

Just as the bible says Ken.
Eph 1:13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,

The order is clear they have to hear and then believe and then God saves them.

You are trusting your calvinism rather than the word of God.

Ken you are loosing the battle. You keep holding to your calvinism in spite of the truths found in God's word.

The gospel of Christ is God's power unto salvation. (Romans 1:16-17)

God's power, not man's power.

The gospel is God's truth your calvinism is a man-made philosophy based on pagan teachings that Augustine brought into the church.

That is historical fact Ken. You can deny it but the truth is the truth.

The bible tells us that if we seek Him not that He will drag you to Himself Ken.

Deu_4:29 ... if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.

2Ch_15:2 ... If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you.

Ezr_8:22 ... "The hand of our God is upon all those for good who seek Him, but His power and His wrath are against all those who forsake Him."

Psa_119:2 Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, Who seek Him with the whole heart!

Isa_11:10 "...For the Gentiles shall seek Him, And His resting place shall be glorious."

Heb_11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Ken where are your verses that say God drags people to Himself?

You deny the Biblical truth that regeneration by the Holy Spirit, being quickened, precedes Biblical faith and repentance.

Ken we find the word "regeneration" twice. Mat_19:28 & Tit_3:5

regeneration G3824

G3824
- Original: παλιγγενεσία
- Transliteration: Paliggenesia
- Phonetic: pal-ing-ghen-es-ee’-ah
- Definition:
1. new birth, reproduction, renewal, recreation, regeneration

You seem to think a person is saved/born again prior to them even believing in Christ. That is not a biblical view but it the calvinist view.

Your calvinist view is not biblical Ken.

You can either believe Augustine and Calvin or you can believe God.

“Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”
“Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved..." Act 16:30-31

From what you have said in your post the Holy Spirit got it wrong.

Christ being King. The elect in their flesh are enemies of Christ before they are regenerated (Ephesians 2:1-7), yet Christ rules over them, and makes them willing by His power.

A Psalm of David.
The LORD says to my Lord:
“Sit at My right hand
Until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.”
The LORD will stretch forth Your strong scepter from Zion, saying,
“Rule in the midst of Your enemies.”
Your people will volunteer freely in the day of Your power;
In holy array, from the womb of the dawn,
Your youth are to You as the dew.
— Psalm 110:1-3
1. “LORD said to my Lord” = God is saying to Jesus “Sit at the Fathers right hand until the Father makes Christ’s enemies His footstool”.

2. “The LORD will stretch form Your strong scepter” = God will stretch forth Christ’s rule (scepter) from Zion while Christ is seated at God’s right hand. = He did this in Acts, Christ’s reign stretched from Jerusalem to Rome. Christ is seated at God’s right hand now.

3. “Rule in the midst” = The Father says to Christ, “rule in the midst of Your enemies”. Christ, through the gospel brought by His apostles, ruled in Acts and continues to rule through this world now… in the midst of His enemies that He is overcoming.

4. “Your people will volunteer freely in the day of Your power” = What power? From “His rule” above, the power of the Gospel through which Christ has and is overcoming this world, people volunteer freely. This word is the Hebrew word almost exclusively related to the free-will offering of the Law. It is given free of compulsion. They give their lives to Christ through the power that God has given Christ through the power of the Gospel. They freely respond to His grace.

5. “In holy array” = ie, clothed in the righteousness of Christ.

6. “From the womb of the dawn” = ie, the dawning of the New Covenant… see Malachi 4:2 => Luke 1:77-79.

Ken I can understand your reticence to jettison a long held belief but for you to continue to deny the clear word of God is a great error on your part.
