Think I've gone daft? Here are some facts: Jesus was resurrected on the 4th day of passover, which ,this year, was Wed. Mar. 31! Read the Scriptures closely, & you'll see it!

The dates of passover were established by GOD, in the 1700s BC, while Easter is a MAN-MADE observance, moved by the RCC to Sundays for their convenience in the 300s AD.

However, there's nothing wrong with observing/celebrating the central event of all Christendom !

Passover this year was March 27, 2021.
Jesus was in the tomb for 3 days and 3 nights according to Matthew 12:40
Passover started from the Sunset on March 26 and ended at Sunset on March 27, 2021, which was the 14th Day of Abib month.
Starting from the even of March 27, it was Days of Unleavened Bread for 7 days, until Sunset of April 3.
28th March was the High Sabbath
Then Jesus would have resurrected on March 30.
If you read Matthew 28:1, you can find :

Ὀψὲ δὲ σαββάτων τῇ ἐπιφωσκούσῃ εἰς μίαν σαββάτων ἦλθεν Μαρία ἡ Μαγδαληνὴ καὶ ἡ ἄλλη Μαριὰ θεωρῆσαι τὸν τάφον

Sabatwn is PLURAL, which means 2 Sabbaths, one High Sabbath and the other the Regular Sabbath.
So, the Resurrection of Jesus was discovered at the dawn of Sunday. I don't disagree that His Resurrection was discovered on Sunday.
However, it doesn't mean that Jesus was resurrected at that time.
If you discovered a body on Sunday Morning, does it mean that the man was killed on Sunday? Nope!
We don't know at what time Jesus was resurrected, Saturday night or Late Afternoon Saturday. We can check about this according to the calendar of 32AD, one day between April 11 thru 17.
According to Daniel 9:27, it should be 69 weeks, 173,880 days since the edict by Artaxerxes ( Nehemiah 2:1-8). It was the first day of the Nisan Month in 445BC.
Then we reach that Jesus entered on or around April 10, 32AD ( 173,880th day)
This may require another analysis.
What I want to point out is that Jesus could have been resurrected on any day of the week, not necessarily on Sunday.
This year, the whole world is celebrating the Easter on Sunday April 4, 2021.
However, the Passover was March 27, which is undeniable.
The we find the gap of 8 days between Passover and Easter.
Why do they celebrate Easter 8days after Passover?
Because it is Easter! Not the Resurrection Day of Jesus! But the Resurrection Day of Tamuz!

Today, RCC, Orthodox, COE, some parts of Protestants celebrate Lent for 40 days.
After the Lent, on the Sunday, after the Full Moon after the Spring Equinox, they celebrate Easter since the goddess Ishtar declared the Resurrection of her son Tamuz who was killed during the hunting.
Easter is the English name of Babylonian goddess Ishtar which was called Asherah in Israel, Aphrodite in Lebanon, Artemis in Ephesus ( Acts 19:24-35), Diana in England and Europe.
They also celebrate the Easter Friday as well, as Friday is the Day of goddess Freya.
All goddesses are consolidated into Maria virtually but they sometimes call Easter, Diana, Madonna, Aphrodite.
As Israel worshipped Jehovah their God together with the goddess Asherah, the most of the Christendom worship God, Jesus and Easter. As Israel worshipped Asherah under the green trees( Evergreen Trees), modern Christians praise Mary under Christmas Trees.
This world has not changed very much.
There is no indication inside the Bible that Sunday has become the Day of the Lord.
Jesus declared that He is the Adonai of the Sabbath( Luke 6:5, Mark 2:28), never said He is the Adonai of Sunday.
In Acts 20:7, the first day after Sabbath was the Saturday evening as the Sunday evening is the second day of the week. Remember the first day of the week starts from the evening of Saturday. This is very much apparent if you go to Israel. They enjoy Habdalla on Saturday evening. Apostle Paul was preaching at the Habdalla meeting, not at the Lord's Supper ( Acts 20:7)
Rev 1: 10 mentions Lord's day, which was Sabbath. Polycarp was arrested on Sabbath afternoon after he celebrated the Worship service in the morning and was burnt alive on the High Sabbath. Polycarp was the disciple of Apostle John
Lord's Day was Sabbath and was never changed inside the Bible, but was changed mainly at the Council of Laodicean in 363-364AD. At that time they declared the Anathema unto the churches gathering on Sabbath, because most of the churches were gathering on Sabbaths until that time, except Rome and Alexandria.
So, there is no reason why the Resurrection of Lord Jesus should be Sundays! It can be any day of the week. But the world celebrate it only on Sundays because they celebrate the Resurrection of Tamuz with the pretext and the disguised decoration of Resurrection of Jesus, worshipping the Sun god as Ezekiel 8 shows.

Luke 3:1 says John the Baptist started his mission in the 14th reign year of Emperor Tiberius.
Augustus died on Aug 19, 14AD and 15th reign year of Tiberius started from 19 August 28.
Jesus spent 3 1/2 years for His mission on the Earth. He spent 4 Passovers since He started His Mission as a Prophet and on the 4th Passover Jesus was crucified as a High Priest.
This results in Passover of 32AD
Dan 9:27 mentions 69 weeks.
69 weeks mean 483 years of prophecy.
1 Prophetic year is 360 days, then 483 years mean 173,880 days.
This is 476 year plus 24 days by Gregorian Calendar.
Then you reach 32AD and Nisan Month ( Abib Month), plus 24 days
Sir Robert Anderson found 477th year started from 13th March, 32AD
and the Abib month of 32AD started from 29th March 32AD. Then 7th April was 10th Abib Month and Sunday after the Sabbath. On this day, Jesus entered Jerusalem receiving " Hosanna!"
In that case, Passover could have been 11th April
But I don't rule out the possibility that the date could be 14th April on which Jesus was crucified.
Anyway, just around this day, it happened.

You are right!! For crying out loud!! What difference does it make what day we celebrate the most important event relating to our salvation? The FACT it He ROSE from the dead! We should celebrate and bury our faces in the dirt in gratitude that He didn't leave us without a path to God.

Every Seventh Day is the Sabbath Day, and according to the Scripture the Passover Lamb has been sacrificed on the Second Sabbath (14th Day) of the first month.


And so is Jesus, because Jesus replaced ordinary lamb of Passover with Himself and became the Sacrificial Lamb of Passover, in this case He has to be sacrificed on the same date as the ordinary lamb of Passover, on the SABBATH DAY, in order to FULFILL THE SCRIPTURES.

18.You know that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your ancestors, not with perishable things like silver or gold,

19.but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without defect or blemish.


Exodus Sacrifice (Passover) was actually a Guilt Sacrifice. The guilt of the Jews has been forgiven and the Passover Sacrifice spared them when they mark their doorposts with the blood of the ordinary lamb, but Egyptians did not know this and their houses were unmarked, and because of it all firstborn from humans to animals all perished from the wrath of GOD.


The Passover (Guilt) Sacrifice of Jesus Christ does the same thing. If we accept Sacrifice of Christ for our sins (guilt), by doing this we are spiritually marking "the doorpost of our soul with the Blood of Christ," and the wrath of GOD on us will Pass Over us and spare us from the death, just like the Hebrews who marked the doorposts of their houses with the blood of the ordinary lamb.


Isaiah 53.10

Lazarus was resurrected on the third day.

Yes, Quirinius was again appointed governor of Syria in 6 AD til 12 AD, after Archelaus, son of Herod the Great, was banished from rulership. But it seems the census in which Joseph & Mary had to go to Bethlehem & register, was first ordered by Augie in 8 BC.(He also had them taken in 28 BC & 14 AD, not long before his death.) Quirinius was governor only during the 8 BC one, and, given the time it took for the word to be spread, it was likely 7 BC when J&M arrived at Bethlehem.

The magi told Herod they'd seen His star 2 years earlier, & it'd taken them that long to make it all the way to Bethlehem. Thus, Herod ordered the murders of all Jewish males age 2 or younger. He died soon after, in 4 BC. And God told J&M to stay in Egypt til Herod's son, Archelaus was no longer ruler in his father's place. That happened in 6 AD.

We cannot be exactly sure of the time of the Persian decree allowing the Jews to return to Judea. There are umpteen accounts of the timing.

The main clue for a later date of Jesus' ministry is John The Baptist beginning his ministry in 28 AD.

More Scriptural & historical evidence points to an earthly lifetime of Jesus being 6 BC to 27 AD. But, no matter exactly when it was, the MOST-IMPORTANT thing is, IT HAPPENED !
