You do not know what you are talking about. Semiautomatic firearms and machine guns are not the same thing. Just a little bit of education on the subject would go far with you.

Silly semantics. Both have automatic firing capability which makes them lethal

Only today after 7 mass shootings inspired by this ideology since he came into office. How many such shootings were carried out under the previous administration?
He condemned it from the onset. Several under the admin of BHO.

Which is multiplied by automatic fire, which is totally unnecessary among vivilians
the second amendment knows no restrictions.

the bill of rights is an experiment in freedom over tyranny

if the American people don't like it - they are able to change it.

IT IS VERY COSTLY.

46 people were shot just last weekend in liberally gun restricted Chicago, big mouth Obama's home town. No doubt mostly by handguns yet look at the drama and reasoning given by him for banning semi-automatic rifles. No agenda there...

Yep I do not believe that people who want to restrict the 2nd have the people in mind. It is nothing but a political tactic to gain power. Same as the global warming garbage.

America has a gun problem. It manifests itself in gun violence part of which is mass shooting. President Barack Obama advocated for more laws on gun ownership. That there are that many deaths in Chicago just proves his point.

There are massive gun controls in place in the city of Chicago. Meanwhile, right next door in Indiana where gun ownership is high and the laws are much less stringent the people there are not killing and shooting each other like in Chicago. What's the difference? The people. Once again this proves that it is not the guns that causes the violence, it is the type of people involved who are doing the violence.

No they don't. You consistently prove that you have no idea what you are talking about when it comes to firearms. Not one clue!. You should refrain from commenting on things you know nothing about - you are making a fool of yourself here on this issue.

NO, America has gun ownership consequences. these consequences are the price of a society which has taken the steps provided by the BILL OF RIGHTS to insure a means to combat tyranny in spite of the known consequence.

We have the privilege of car ownership the abuse of which via consumption of alcohol costs us up to 50,000 lives per year and we do not YET ban automobiles.

At any time the American people can rescind the second amendment. so far we choose NOT TO DO SO.

Therefore we choose the awful consequence of the abuse of firearm ownership in order to repel tyranny - both foreign and domestic.

Nevertheless people are flocking to America willing to sacrifice their very lives and lives of their families to make it their home where folks are free to arm themselves and also to exercise their unalienable God given rights (among many others) of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.

Strange don't you think?

America doesn't have a gun problem, it has a sin problem, a lack of respect for life problem, a lack of respect for authority problem, an everything needs to be handled by extremes problem. Guns are a tool that is used to deal with the symptoms of the real problems. If we start blaming guns for deaths then we might as well blame forks for obesity or cars for DUI's.
