This thread is about Obama the messiah. Not about McCain.LeBuick said:Looks like this one was taken down also.
I was at the Hospital yesterday and a lady made a very good point, with all the stuff being said about Obama all of a sudden it's hard to know what to believe so I think all but the conservatives are just blocking it all out. They attribute it to just more smear tactics.
she also made a good point by saying while America is falling apart McCain is stuck on Ayres. It's as if the conservatives are on the wrong page of the song book. The rest of us are on one page and they are stuck singing the old song.
McCain is not showing much leadership unless you count leader of a mob vigilante style group leadership for president. Those rallies being shown with people saying, "treason" and "kill him" is not good TV then they turn to the camera at the end and ask, "don't you want to join our cause"? This is really starting to look ugly.

but in the video, Farrakhan speaks about God using people and then mentions Obama and says the Messiah is speaking... in my opinion he could have been referring to God since he spoke of him at the beginning of this clip.

Tell that to the muslims, the buddists, the hindus. I supose theres no such thing as false religion then is there. because the person of their worship isn't standing in front of them.
yeah right

It sounds like Farrakhan is calling Obama the Messiah but I would want to hear more to be sure.

As an aside, calling someone a messiah means saviour is not necessarily an act of worship or have any religious meaning.
Bush could be called messiah for saving the Iraqis from Saddam. Kevin Garnett could be called messiah for bringing the Celtics out of the cellar to the championship.
Obama could be called messiah for the perception he would "save" the political and economic situation in the United States. They could be wrong but so could people who think Palin is an Esther.
I don't think anyone actually calls Obama messiah but if they did, I don't necessarily see anything wrong with that if taken in context.
I guess I can rank you in the group of 'another Christian that doesn't have the gift of Grace".....carpro said::laugh: Uh huh. Sure.....![]()
Another "Christian" who doesn't seem to have the gift of discernment.
