Ya know what? Living with Obama as President has given me insight as to how liberals must have felt when Bush was President. I mean it's unbearable for me to see Obama on TV, or listen to him speak. I had watched every state of the Union address in the past 30+ years but I skipped the most recent one.

The issue isn't if President Obama was born in Hawaii or not. The same ones who have a problem with this would find something else they don't like. Primarily it is because he is a democrat. The right-wingers will criticize him no matter what. They make Rush Limbaugh proud!

We have had liberal presidents, this was not an issue. But just as the black man decades ago had to produce his birth certificate then the same mentality of white priviledge continues now in demanding one from Barack Obama.

I have actually heard Rush say nice things about both Clintons - true not a whole lot, but every now and then. He also has been critical of certain Republicans. Do you remember a few years ago when Rush obtained a trial separation from the Republican Party?
Conversely Extremely liberal Talk show host Stephanie Miller has never said one bad thing about Obama, and tears down every Republican.
Rush will actually listen to a liberal - true - he will try to convert him - but Miller - will use any trick in the book - even lies - to make a conservative look bad.

Disclaimer - I an not a total Rush Lover - but he is much more accepting of his opponents than Miller is

Barack Obama has offered you Republican brand healthcare and it has been demonized like Soviet communism. Why would there be such a reaction as there has been. The only reasonable explanation is irrational racism.

You have not seen extreme liberal. The fact that you see him as extreme is likely energized by some other factor unique to him and we know that racism for the Republicans has been a problem in the past and probably recently repressed until now if human nature is any guide. What could be more in your face than a black president.

Why do you keep ignoring the fact that it is not about originally asking for a birth certificate, it is about continuing on with it after the certified certificate has been offered. Whew!
