1. Cornelius was a Roman Centurion; no females permitted. You have insulted this brave man.Nice try!
Point here is that JUST as with Cornelius, she worshipped Hebrew God, but HAD to have the Lord by His HS "wake her up" spiritually, that would allow her to hear and belive it...
What do you think would have happened IF God chose NOT to have "openned her" up to hearing the Gospel message?
2. You have no passage of Scripture that directly tells that God gave Cornelius faith. That is your Calvinistic presupposition. It holds as much water as the RCC doctrine of infants being baptized. For at the household of Philippian jailor the infants were baptized because "all households have infants."
3. He worshiped the Hebrew God, the same God that Saul worshiped that persecuted Christians and killed Stephen, and crucified Christ. To some extent it was a demonic religion by that time that opposed every aspect of Christianity.
4. It was his choice to receive or reject the gospel message. God opened his heart via the preaching of the Word. The Holy Spirit works through the Word of God. The power of the gospel is in the Word of God. He was not given faith. Faith is not a gift. The gift of God is salvation. The gift of God is eternal life. Get your facts straight.
