and the same goes for Cuomo. It appears he is guilty of sexual assualt

He resisted every step of the way with the police, right from the very beginning. The police were being very gentle for the first part of the arrest. and he is refusing to get in the police car. so half in the car, he starts saying he cant breathe, so they pull him out. and he continues to fight and resist the authority of the police.

I really don't expect Chauvin to receive a fair trial in Minneapolis at all - the lefty Muslim Keith Elison is in charge of the prosecution and they probably won't give him a change of venue, even though the city settled with the Floyd family for 27M dollars. The jury is being seated right now.

If I were Chauvin, I'd be hoping for a hung jury, just takes one. With a reasonable jury, there's two things you people screaming for conviction need to overcome - the fact that the chokehold was standard police procedure and all the drugs in his system. The county coroner said if GF had died at home, it would have been ruled a death by overdose.

Probably the fatal dose of fentanyl in his system kicking in. Knee on side of neck did not suffocate the man, but drugs will suffocate you, stop your breathing and add in the stress of being arrested.

The autopsy won’t matter. The drugs in his system won’t matter. All the other allegations against Mr. Floyd won’t matter.

All that will matter is the jury will watch the officer kneeling on his neck, with a smirk on his face, for seven minutes while Mr. Floyd begged for his life and then for another 2:45 seconds while he knows Mr.Floyd had no discernible pulse.

You are probably right about that. The jury pool has been influenced by the settlement.

So you believe his being choked had 100% no bearing on his dying just at that moment?

You believe that if they just had him lie there - untouched - that he would have died at that moment anyway? You don't think he would have died weeks or months later? Do you believe the policeman acted properly?

Autopsy or no - there was a TOTAL disregard for human life on the part of the officer. And that's what counts.

You are dealing with two different things. Remember, you stated that the officer murdered George Floyd. That's a very big accusation and one that is demonstrably false. That does not deal with whether or not the officer acted properly. Those are two very different issues.

It was ridiculous that the city did this. First off, 27 million? For what exactly? Second, even if there were to be a need for a settlement it should have come after a trial and after all facts come out.

They didn't care, it's tax-payer money. Already two jurors quit because they say the settlement would have influenced them in the verdict. Mistake to do it before the criminal trial, but I think crooked Elison was trying to "set the table", if you know what I mean.

I'm not going to get into the specifics anymore on whether Chauvin is guilty or not or of what. I'll predict either a third degree conviction (which will be appealed and probably overturned) or a hung jury (retried), or. less likely, an acquittal. All three scenarios will cause more rioting.

Except that the officer took responsibility for the man as soon as he removed the man's ability to act. That is where the officer can be said to have contributed to his death (the "what it's come into play....what if medical personnel were called the first time Floyd complained of not being able to breathe.. things like that).
