The book.by the Protestant, N.T. Wright, 'What Paul Really Said' regarding justification turns the position that Charlie has been fed and keeps repeating on it's head.
According to N.T. Wright, “Justification in the first century was not about how someone might establish a relationship with God. It was about God’s eschatological definition, both future and present, of who was in fact, a member of his people.”And the “works” Charlie has been confused about is not human works.
And the “works” Charlie has been confused about is not human works.
It's definitely confusing for a Catholic, we got past that confusion.
I thought we settled this mate, I was half way through my cigar.
Have you ever known anything to be settled between a Catholic and a IFB?
We have had these conversations before but this was the first time you admitted the difference of works done through grace as opposed to human works.
If I knew how a Catholic thinks I would use the correct words they understand.
I've noticed that speaking with Catholics we word everything differently.
