Wait a minute, so foreign language Bibles must come from the KJV and NOT the original lanuages? As long as they use the KJV as the plumbline for their Bible, they are pure.
YES! Authorized by the King. My, my, did your history just get shaken? It was legal in England?
ExactlyKing Henry VIII did not license the printing of the 1611 KJV. King Henry VIII licensed in 1537 a printing of a revision of the 1535 Coverdale's Bible. This 1537 Bible stated on its title page: "Set forth with the King's most gracious license." In 1537, King Henry VIII also licensed the printing of the 1537 Matthew's Bible.
The 1539 Great Bible is the first authorized version in English.
And where do you find this in Scripture? You must wait until the thousand years are finished....
You seem to mean that the KJV must mean what we call the source text (ST). Must the KJV be the ST for a translation in, say, Japanese, for the Word of God to be pure in Japanese?Using the KJV as a comparison standard from English to whatever language translation(not modern versions).
I've always thought that if one believed baptism was necessary for salvation, they should fit a pick up truck with a baptismal pool and use that for evangelism. Otherwise, exactly what you said--what if they die before getting baptized? They are then stuck with faith in Jesus that didn't really work right. What happens if you die before you get baptized?
Good grief, what is the NAME of the course? At a Bible college bookstore.
Not from them directly though, correct?Via the KJV, yes.
NO, the Lord NEVER inspired any languages other then those 3 used in the originals! And Elizabethan English.
maybe the same one Smith, Russell, and White all learned from?Good grief, what is the NAME of the course?
So you are adding to the true Gospel, and so hold to another and a false one?In the name of Jesus Christ specifically for the remission of sins, yes.
So the thief never made paradise, so Jesus lied to him then? That is the prequalifier to get to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of one's sins.
When the Kjv disagrees with the Hebrew and Greek texts, who is right?Using the KJV as a comparison standard from English to whatever language translation(not modern versions).
Yes, many Kjvo do hold to that!Wait a minute, so foreign language Bibles must come from the KJV and NOT the original lanuages?
Ask the thief who was with Jesus about that!I've always thought that if one believed baptism was necessary for salvation, they should fit a pick up truck with a baptismal pool and use that for evangelism. Otherwise, exactly what you said--what if they die before getting baptized? They are then stuck with faith in Jesus that didn't really work right.![]()
Naw, Jesus baptized him, didn't He?Ask the thief who was with Jesus about that!
Glad that Jesus was not a KJVO!Naw, Jesus baptized him, didn't He?![]()
The Kool-Aid was stronger than I thought. Man what an uneducated ignorant arrogant position.Yes, many Kjvo do hold to that!
They also would hold that NO valid conversions happen apart from the use of the Kjv!The Kool-Aid was stronger than I thought. Man what an uneducated ignorant arrogant position.
