When kai is preceded or followed by the conjunction ei, "if," the phrase signifies "even if," or "if even. This is seen in Mark 14:29 Phl 2:17 and 1 Peter 3:1. This is not the case in Heb 6

To renew them unto repentance. He is so far fallen that he has no capacity left for repentance. Judas the Apostate sorrowed, but his sorrows became despair. There was remorse but not repentance.

Now what does this tell us Bob? We have looked in the greek and it is not there. Now why is it listed in strongs? Any idea why in the short list near the bottom it has "if" in it? Any ideas?
