I see I must educate you all to the proper way of eating cereal. PastorSBC, "we have a list of rules I'll be sure to get to you."
First, you must define cereal. If cereal to you is marketed primarily for its health, has pictues of wheat on the box, or has the word bran without a dried fruit associated with it, and you are not planning to add an unreal amount of sugar to it, then you need to eat your cereal from a small bowl, with a dainty spoon, on a table with a table cloth while browsing the wall street journal. You are so clearly a grown up I don't know why you are reading a thread about cereal. You are dismissed from this class.
Now for the rest of us:
1) Bowl or cup doesn't matter so long as what you use is large enough to make the aformentioned group scold you for your childish ways.
2) Begin with a healthy amount of cereal and a healthy amount of milk and enjoy
3) When finished DO NOT DRINK YOU MILK. Instead, add a second helping of cereal and enjoy again. Ignore the member of the aformentioned group who is most likely now giving you a lecture on carbs, junk food, or something.
4) Having completed your second helping, drink your milk, which now contains all the sugary goodness of the cereal. Slurp loudly to drowned out the continuing lecture from the grown up.
5) If there are children in the house, be sure to announce that this cereal is your cereal and keep in on a high shelf. Don't share it with the children unless your grown up spouse is out of the house and you can teach your child properly in the matters of slurping.
