We have numerous people that can't sit for very long and need to move around. That's no problem for us. They go to the back of the sanctuary and really only my husband can see them. A child might need to move around and that is fine too. My own husband needs to sit because of a severely injured foot years ago that pains him terribly if he stands too long. As long as attention is focused, that's what matters. His is on the Word and the congregation, and theirs is on him and the Word. :)

Yes.....and that is discouraged in some churches. Seen as too distracting. But I personally believe this whole conversation when off the rails when a few posters perceived me & a few others with being critical of the pastors job performance in the pulpit.....that wasn't my intent. But now it is a concern. I will have to thank these insecure people for bringing it to light....:godisgood::thumbs:
