    Every believer has imputed righteousness.
    This is not imputed righteousness.

No, acts are not imputed righteousness. They're righteous acts. They don't make a believer any more righteous. They can't. You can't get more righteous than what has been imputed to you by Jesus, so even the notion that we are made righteous by our acts (which is only God working through us, anyway) is silly.

Too bad that God was so silly as to spend so much time talking about it, eh?

I'm getting tired of disproving your silliness. Tell you what. I'll bet on the righteousness of Christ, and you can bet on your own righteousness you can add to it. See ya later, although I may have to wave to you from a distance.

We are practically righteous if our works are righteous.
    1 John 3:7
7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

Do all believers get the same reward based on Christ's imputed righteousness?

Well, there's never been any doubt in my mind that ME'rs are counting on their own righteousness to enter the kingdom, but I was hoping they could at least admit it.
But that was NO answer to our question.

ME'r are counting on their own good works to enter the kingdom. That is why they have such an obsession with works. They have completely misinterpreted the book of James and believe works earn righteousness.

Some have no personal salvation testimony.

All of them believe that a person can be born again with no evidence of the new birth.

All of them deny the power and authority of Christ to remove all sin. Therefore, punishment awaits.

None of them know if "they" will be in the kingdom, since they can't define what being "faithful" is. They just hope they don't end up in hell.

None of them can explain how a Spirit filled believer can be separated from God.

And not one of them is willing to answer a simple question (that would lay it all to rest) of "whose righteousness will get you into the kingdom".

I think that pretty well sums it up.

If that's not an anti-Biblical, anti-grace accursed teaching, I don't know what is.

No I'm just obviously not going to give you an answer that "you want" to hear. Your question has been answered MULTIPLE times.

Care to answer mine now or are you just going to keep avoiding the issue?

That is quite an accurate assessment on all counts.

Yep that pretty much sums up your lack of understanding or you deliberate mis-representation. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that it's the first, but you've been in these conversations long enough that you are quickly making your way along side the others and are deliberately bearing false witness against other saved individuals.

But I know you think you won't be held accountable for it so why should you stop? :tear:

If the only righteousness that God cares about is the absolute imputed righteousness of Christ, why are there differing degrees of reward for faithful believers?

Here's a tissue. Dry your tears. I don't need your threats of 1000 years of hell because I stood up to a false teaching.

And there are plenty of your posts (maybe 1000 :)) that prove that I have told the truth.

So when we get to the center of this strange confection, we find an inconsistent doctrine that teaches God can see varying levels of 'righteousness' for rewards, but can't see any righteousness but Christ's absolute righteousness when it suits us. I don't think thats tootsie in that there tootsie pop.

There's a HUGE difference between standing up for what you believe the truth is (by the way I'm still waiting for some answers, so I guess you're only willing to stand so far) and bearing false witness against another saved individuals.

I have a couple of really good friends that ADAMANTLY disagree with the views that I hold of Scripture, but not one time have they misrepresented what I believe or called me a heretic.

Again you can disagree with class and dignity and then you can lie, smear, misrepresent what others believe and call them names and make fun of them and act as though you are standing up for something.

I don't have a problem at all with those that want to disagree with me. As I have said I have a couple of friends that disagree with me, but we still love and respect each other as saved individuals.

I can't say the same for very many on this board that enter into these discussions. And again unfortunately you are starting to take your clues from and following the example of the wrong group!

No need for a hanky as I'm not crying. It's just sad when not only can you not defend what you believe, but you can't even represent those you are opposing accurately.

But as I've said there is no reason why you should. You say you love God, yet you speak evil against other saved individuals. Somehow that just doesn't line up. But in your theology it doesn't have to, because you don't have to act Christlike whether you want to or not. You can say and do whatever you please as vile as it might be, because you have no one to answer to. You don't have any concern of losing fellowship with God, because all of your sin has been forgiven.

Several of you obviously don't even think you are sinning by what you are doing or you know you are and you simply don't care, because once again you don't have to care.

I guess they don't know their scripture that well, or they'd recognize ME as heresy.

    You mean like this?

Whether or not you will suffer 1,000 years or be accursed, do you care that the Bible says that people who preach a (non-)gospel of works should be accursed? Obviously not, because you keep going.

Obviously, no one knows them as well as you. You know them so well that you don't need to quote them! You simply have to call people names, insult them, yell "heresy!", and apparently your words are to be accepted as if they were Scripture.

At least there are a few people on the board who are capable of posting Scriptures and carrying on a well-reasoned discussion, but they don't generate quite as much verbage as you.

But, then again, they're not the most qualified theologian in the universe, like you.

Well one of them is the son of a pastor that is one of the most thorough expositors I have ever listened to in my life. I have a spindle of over 100 CDs each containing a message from the book of Luke that that didn't even get his congregation but to the first six verses of chapter three.

Now seeings how this guy grew up with that kind of preaching and still receives and listens to his dad's CDs I don't think that would be true.

And while I don't know much of my other friend's background as far as growing up in the church he is well studied and has even taken several seminary classes and is the president of a world-wide Bible translation ministry.

So I would suspect that woudn't be the case for him either.

Absolutely I do. That's why I stand up against Lordship salvation and this nonsense that someone has to have works before they are really and truly saved! Once again this statement shows your lack of understanding or your intentions to continue in your false accusations because I can't count how many times we have told you and others that everlasting life comes by grace through faith APART FROM WORKS. Yet you continue in this line of accusation even though you know good and well that we don't preach a gospel of works when it comes to reception of everlasting life.
