COVID-19 in Iceland: “We’re nearing the limits of our infrastructure” (icelandreview.com)

It is worth noting that with 93% fully vaccinated, iceland says its medical infrastructure is ready to collapse due to the number of hospitalized covid patients, due they say to the 'delta variant'. The vaccine is not doing very well against this variant, same thing as what Israel has said. Yet they continue to push for boosters, as in a third vaccine shot, which IMO smacks of desperation. Why go with what does not work over and over, so maybe 4th, 5th, 6th boosters will also be coming.

On a separate thread, Some Israelis leaked out that any covid treatments would not be allowed in order for these countries to obtain the vaccines, as written into their vaccine contracts with these vaccine suppliers. Explains why such have been relentlessly suppressed and mocked, follow the money.
So with most people vaccinated and still getting what the so called vaccination was supposed to help them not get, the question arises, what good are the vaccines? It seems to be a criminal cabal of misinfo and bullying and outright lying.

How you know 2.4 percent unvaxed that contract Covid are hospitalized? You assuming you magically know everyone who has Covid?
Yes. If it helps you to understand, just think of me as omniscient. :Biggrin

Actually, it was in the article @Scott Downey posted about Iceland. He seemed to think the article correct, so I went with his numbers.

I have been to Norway, but never Iceland.....although zi hear it's cool.

I doubt anyone would argue with you about that. It's obvious.
I thought so too.

That's another benefit about having been vaccinated. None of my family (or anyone I know) have had any bad side effects. And it means I really do not have to care about the debate.

The vax vs anti-vax debate is only relevant to the snti-vax folk.

@Reynolds ,

On a more serious note, I am glad you are blessed not to know anyone who died of covid.

Perhaps if I were in your shoes I would feel the same way.

But I am not. I know several who died of covid, and several struggling with the aftermath of the virus. Over the past 4 weeks we lost 2 at work and over 20 are out sick. The ones in bad condition are (thus far) unvaccinated. For some, this is their second case of covid.

All of my family have been vaccinated except my brother (who just recovered from covid lately). None of those I know have had any side effects from the vaccine.

So I have a different experience and therefore a different perspective.

But I don't hold your opinion against you. Like I said, if I were alienated from the deaths caused by covid then I proably would be right beside you.

Maybe it is time that honest people who took the vaccine start to admit that it was a mistake.

I do not understand exactly what you are getting at.

I am perhaps, like @Reynolds said, a "smart tail", BUT I'm an honest "smart tail" (I may not always be correct, but I will speak honestly).

And I took the shot.

It was definitely not a mistake.

I'll also get the flu shot (probably this Friday at the VA).

It was not a mistake because I knew the possible side effects. I also knew the risks of not being vaccinated. And I made a choice concerning my own health.

Many who do not get the vaccine are also not making a mistake. They weigh the risks of the vaccine against the risks of covid and make their choice.

You sure debate a lot not to care about it.

Bingo...a lie hoisted on the public. Many of them still think that after the shots.... well they are now immune.

Pics don’t require links or text of post. It makes it hard to ignore, or disregard. Sweet.

he says that about a lot of things. But he debates what he doesn’t care about quite often
Yep. It is fun to look at "homest people" posting dishonest arguments.

With COVID, who else would you talk to? Only the anti-vax people are interested.

You still did not clarify the Facebook comment.

You do know that what you said is dancing all around the definition of trolling.

I know. I like being argumentative.

Mostly I like looking at arguments and considering the flaws.
In your face dialogue is only supposed to be from NY & NJ.... well done and welcome aboard :Thumbsup

Now you need to move to Florida... where you are assured of catching COVID & testing out your ‘less severe’ theory. :Cautious :Laugh

But just to clarify, I am not nor do I see any anti vaccine people on this board. From the comments presented I see cautious people who want dialog concerning defects in the existing vaccine shots and why is there no exploration of other means of treatment (as alternatives). Finally, you are probably seeing resentment as to why other means is being squashed and the propensities involved in forcing the jab. Otherwise I’m good!
