Sometimes I wonder if you just like stirring the pot Mr. InTheLight.. I am still learning the personalities of everyone here. But you make a good point here. A point so solid it makes the Meme just shallow. So I have found perhaps I need to digesting your posts more carefully, something I must admit in the rush of life, I am bad not to do.

That said, a lot of the leftist want to be the bad butt tough guy also. No pass on either group whatsoever. Perhaps the only people there that might get a pass is a few C.W. conservationist that didn't think through the idea of mingling with the Nazi just as a few perhaps innocent uninformed joined in with the left wing folks. I don't know percentages, wouldn't even venture a guess, but I am sure there was some good-hearted folks that just didn't realize how stupid it was to get involved with the polar hate groups clashing.

Which part referenced Trumps statement? Which part referenced the Nazis? Has @Revmitchell denied the presence of these racists at Charlottesville? Have I? The post simply does not seem to be about Nazis. Why should we make it about them?
Racial injustice on both sides have escalated to the point we are where we are now. Does this mean we are forbidden to discuss these injustices? Does this mean that the that the controversy that brought Nazi's to Charlottesville is taboo because it is overshadowed by the events of that town?
Does this mean that a post addressing the controversy behind the event, siding against systematically erasing traces of Confederate history, are automatically in support of the Nazi's? By virtue of your remarks, yes. Either you are for removing the statues or you are a Nazi.
Bulldozing the issue with a "you are supporting the Nazi's if you disagree with me" is a bit troubling. But here's a news flash - not all people who fly a rebel flag are racists, much lest Nazi's. Not all people who believe in the eradication of Confederate memorials or statues are racists much less Nazi's.
My point is the controversy existed prior to and apart from the Nazi's. @Revmitchell 's post spoke to this controversy, not to the Nazi's.

Let's be clear--The charge is "you are denying Nazis were at Charlottesville".
ALL people who fly a Nazi flag and wear Nazi armbands ARE Nazis, and they were there in Charlottesville.

No kidding. This thread could go on and on breaking down that stupid meme and we could pivot to the fact that no one is blaming the violence in Charlottesville on Trump, at least no one on BB. Then we could examine the political party make up of the Charlottesville city council that voted to remove the statues, and then move on to whether or not it was democrats that commissioned all the confederate statues nationwide.
