Impeachment proceedings taking longer than anticipated

"‘The timeline will depend on the truth line, and that's what we're looking for,’ Pelosi told reporters late last week."

It’s not that the Dems don’t know what the truth looks like. While some people are afraid of snakes, others are snakes afraid of the truth.
Democrats see impeachment proceedings taking longer than some initially expected.

Personally I don't think its gonna happen... gonna ride off into the sunset... no - change that to - its gonna slither out of town at midnight under the cover of darkness...

Personally, I think impeachment will happen based on Trump having asked the president of Ukraine to interfere in the U.S. 2020 election(unless Trump resigns first - which I doubt will happen). The Senate may not vote to remove Trump, but the House will do the right thing and impeach Trump.

Ken, where/how do you dredge up these li — er, uh, utterly fabricated pseudo facts?????????:Rolleyes

It's hard to impeach a president when there are no crimes being committed or any impeachable offenses. There was this one time though, a while back, where a president committed adultery with his intern while in the Oval Office. Maybe that president should have been impeached, since we are talking about impeachment.

If President Obama had said what Trump said, Republicans would have been impeaching him faster than a horse can flick his tail - and rightfully so. There is no excuse for involving foreign countries in United States elections - I don’t care who the president is.

And the Trump supporters would have been cheering them on.

I’m assuming you are keeping the O’s statement, “I’ll have more freedom after this next election.” forefront in your thoughts as you make this condemnation!! Aren’t you???? (To the Russians, no less:Devilish)

It would if enough Republican Senators would
place country over party.

You have it all wrong, as usual. Trump looks out for the welfare of Americans first.

Democrats look out for everyone but Americans. By standing firmly behind Trump, Republicans are emphatically putting the welfare of our nation first. As do all people who really love our country.

Did he ever leave the White House from impeachment? Who replaced him as president after that impeachment? I recall him just getting a slap on the wrist and still staying in the Oval Office until George took over in 2000.

Impeachment does not mean removal - that is for the Senate to decide.

Obama could have been impeached for his violation of the Constitution when he attempted to pass an immigration law all by himself. If there ever was a "high crime" that was it. But instead, the Republicans just patiently waited for the next election.

Right, the Senate decided not to remove an adulterer from the White House. Here is my thing. Under the UCMJ, adultery is against military code. You can't be a commander in chief, violate the UCMJ laws, and except the military members to obey those same laws that you yourself break. I do not and will not respect a hypocritical leader. If I committed adultery while in the service I would have faced NJP. That's all I'm saying.

Obama was unimpeachable, no matter how many laws he broke.

They do. The Dems do not. Don't get ur hopes up that the Republicans will turn on Trump in light of the Dem's impeachment shenanigans.

Donald J. Trump:

95% Approval Rating in the Republican Party.
Thank you!
