It appears your compatiblism scale leans more to determinism than libertarianism on the free will issue; and to the point of maybe a bit overly heavy on the determinist side for my taste. (In reference to the “absolute”) Of course this is in IMHO.

I wouldn't even take exception to that statement. See there, sometimes we're not that far apart bro. :)

…well, I’ve heard that the Calvinist refer to you as the "best Calvinist/non-Calvinist around here" …maybe I misunderstood that too, LOL …But if you say so.

K, been fun, but I'm back to the books,

    Peace

    Guess what guys...
The instructor of the class has asked me to teach the class this Thursday...

    It will be on Humanity...

So keep me in prayer... this is the first time I have ever taught a college level class...

How did the class go Tim? And where did everyone else go? I've had to travel to the city, and have been too busy this week to participate. My son had surgery two weeks ago, and they had to open him back up this week. He is doing better, but could sure use some prayer.
If things work out the way I think they are, I am probably not going to be able to be on the BB much. I should know by tomorrow evening.
I've enjoyed this thread. I pray that more threads could be more civil, and that we could be one as our Lord and Savior Jesus and the Father are one. John 17

The class went well, The instructor didn't have to leave after all, so we co-taught the class... It was pretty fun...

We backed up and talked about Angels and Demons...
    Then went into Humanity.

I may post more later... I am sorry I have been too busy to post much. This week has been crazy... I haven't even started on Sunday's sermons!!! I have 36 hours to get 2 quality sermons out... so please pardon me if I don't post much on here.. I may do some drive bys... but that will be about it...
