Is Obama aMarxist?

That's exactly my concern. The avoidance of unrighteous judgement, not judgement itself. What commonly happens on this board is Person A saying So-and-So is a marxist, and if Person B says they disagree, then a common reaction from Person A is that Person B is a liberal, marxist, not a bible believer, or a whole list of other such comments. Likewise, we have instances of Person C saying So-and-So is a hero, and if Person D says they disagree, then a common reaction from Person C is that Person C is a right-winger, elitist, or a whole other list of other such comments.

What ever happenned to civil discussion and disagreement, simply allowing a person to disagree, and respecting the person regardless.

Do not derail this thread

Calling for civil discussion is not a derailment. One can ask the question "Is Obama a Marxist" and one can answer the question, without abandoning civil discussion.

Where does it say that in the Bible?

Thinkingstuff provided the answer. But I assume by the asking the question, you do not think we should ever "judge." Yet you judge all the time on here by saying people don't care for the poor if they do support big-gov't solutions for them.

The Bible says by their fruits we know them. So, now let's get back on topic. :)

I'm checking back in, lol. :flower:

His rabid advocacy of the slaughter of the unborn and his effort to ration health care to the elderly indicate that he has the moral mindset of a Marxist.

What is the moral mindset of a marxist exactly ? Can you detail so that i better understand how Obama could be one ?

And, about the fact Jesus doesn't say other riches to sell their belongings and give it to the poor, he still says :

"Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.
And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."

Many people say here that the government should'nt tax, and they prefer to give to the church, but not everyone's christian and saved yet. So, in this " world " of no-tax-at-all, only christian people would get help, and the other would starve/die of illness/... ?

Yeah, we ask people to accept Christ before we feed them. Saves a lot of charity $ that way.

Interesting idea but Jesus didn't do that when He fed the 5,000 did He?

You seem to have the Marxist mindset. Could you explain to Spear just what it is; as if anyone in Europe does not already know. I believe that it could best be summarized as "The Survival of the Fittest".

If they refuse Christ, do you then refuse to feed them?

Isn't it interesting that Jesus went to the houses of the publicans, Zacchius and Matthew's friends, to be fed but not to feed? He actually is recorded as feeding those that had received Him, the 5 thousand and the Disciples at the last supper.

Jesus was talking to the Church to be ie; Disciples, not to the Romans or Herodians, who were the Political entities of that day. He did not order Rome to start confiscating wealth and redistributing it.

Any church that feeds those who need it has my respect for doing such a good deed!
