No doubt that the Ninevites were saved, as Johan preached the Gospel of repentance to them!

The men of Nineveh will rise up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and behold, something greater than Jonah is here (Matthew 12:41)

Jesus is the Highest Authority!
You are ignoring that salvation was only of the Jews. National repentance = missing God's wrath.

are you saying that the account in Jonah is wrong, and Jesus Christ wrong in what He says?

There are people like Rahab, who was NOT a "Jew", and her family, were all SAVED and are in heaven!

Rahab became a Jew. You are confusing national repentance with salvation.

If this were true, then God must be unjust!

[/ quote] so you are the arbiter of justice when it comes to God's ways? Have you read Romans 9? Do you think any of us deserve to be saved? Do you think we deserve it? I have news for you. We don't deserve anything from God. Except one thing. We deserve eternal damnation in hell. The fact that God saves anybody that he chooses anybody is a miracle in of itself and Amazing Grace. How dare you question God! How dare you say that he was unjust because of the way He says he operates! Read Romans. Read the book of John the whole book of John, Not the verses you cherry pick. You are so caught up in your bunk theology your unbiblical, heretical theology that you are making yourself out to be the arbiter of justice. How dare you! I have news for you. You do not want God to be just because if God were fully just. If God were fully fair, you, me and everyone else on this board would be living eternity in the gates of hell.

Who are you Oh man, to question God?

Faith in what? Without faith there is no knowledge of any kind. Truth originates with God. Acts of the Apostles 17:28, Psalms 19:4, Genesis 1:1, Romans 10:17-18, John 17:17.

Faith is entirely from God, by his grace alone.

Hebrews 11:1:1-3
Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. Through their faith, the people in days of old earned a good reputation. By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.

Hebrews 12:1-2
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.
Galatians 5:22-23
But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!
Ephesians 2:8-9
God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.

Daniel 4:34-35,37
“After this time had passed, I, Nebuchadnezzar, looked up to heaven. My sanity returned, and I praised and worshiped the Most High and honored the one who lives forever. His rule is everlasting, and his kingdom is eternal. All the people of the earth are nothing compared to him. He does as he pleases among the angels of heaven and among the people of the earth. No one can stop him or say to him, ‘What do you mean by doing these things?’

“Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and glorify and honor the King of heaven. All his acts are just and true, and he is able to humble the proud.”

= sight belief, not faith. Jesus avoided people who believed on the basis of his miracles.

Now you can see that rubbish of your theology!

You quote this verse, and I actually agree with what you say. However, in "reformed" theology, "repentance" is also a "gift" from God, which He has given only to the "elect". In which case, HOW can God command "all men everywhere to repent", when He has not given them this "gift of repentance", as YOUR theology says???

Can you seen the complete nonsense of what your theology teaches?
God commanded them to repent. If they do not it is on them.
The door of the Ark was open for years and the people had no desire to enter. Its like that!
