Scofield said; on Mt 5:2-12; "For these reasons, the Sermon on the Mount in its primary application gives neither the privilege nor the duty of the Church. These are found only in the Epistles."

True but I still think you've misunderstood what he's really saying. He also stated this.

But there is a beautiful moral application to the Christian. It always remains true that the poor in spirit, rather than the proud, are blessed, and those who mourn because of their sins, and who are meek in the consciousness of them, will hunger and thirst after righteousness, and hungering, will be filled. The merciful are "blessed," the pure in heart do "see God." These principles fundamentally reappear in the teaching of the Epistles.

Matthew 5 - Scofield Reference Bible Commentary

He wasn't really saying the morality of the Sermon on the Mount has passed away IMO.

Just give a link instead of wasting forum space with the block of text nobody will read.

Posting stuff in this manner does not make you look Christian, it makes you look deranged and desperate.

NOAHIDE LAWS AND THE NWO

See it’s not that hard to link to a strange cult!
I guess there are those in the cults more hip to the truth then , than you. I am happy to see some others think like the True Jews. That is not the only link.

the funny thing is no matter what anyone says the Talmud says what it says. And those same Talmudic Jews of today are just like yesterday. Christ confronted the Talmudic Jews then and does now.

"And he shall have no AFFECTION for Woman".

Scofield said the Sermon was pure law reserved for the Jews only during the Millennium. 1) literally to the kingdom. In this sense it gives the divine constitution for the righteous government of the earth. Whenever the kingdom of heaven is established on earth it will be according to that constitution, which may be regarded as an explanation of the word "righteousness" as used by the prophets in describing the kingdom (e.g.) Isaiah 11:4 Isaiah 11:5 ;32:1 ; Daniel 9:24 In this sense the Sermon on the Mount is pure law, and transfers the offence from the overt act to the motive. Matthew 5:21 Matthew 5:22 Matthew 5:27 Matthew 5:28 .

Stop dodging the question like a coward. Which of the following is allowed to a Christian:

Taser, pepper spray, hand cuffs, imprisonment, grappling, wrestling, pushing, punching, dodging, deflecting, fleeing, and maiming are all not killing.
Was Jesus a coward?

Well, I guess you're just a Troll. And I fell for it. Here I thought you might actually be interested in sharing your beliefs, but instead you want people to chase after your red herrings. Why you've come to this forum to troll about pacifism is beyond me. But since you're being disrespectful of people's time, I have to assume that most of what you have said is probably bogus.

I won't be chasing your red herrings anymore nor falling for trolling attempts.

You are judging me by your own heart. What you would be if you were to hold my position.

Scofield must have been drunk when he stated that. Well, at least I hope so then he might have an excuse for such nonsense.

Isaiah 9:4-
Unto Us a Child is Born
…4For as in the day of Midian You have shattered the yoke of their burden, the bar across their shoulders, and the rod of their oppressor.
Matthew 11:28-30
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
Isaiah 9:5
5For every trampling boot of battle and every garment rolled in blood will be burned as fuel for the fire.
6For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government will be upon His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.…
7Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish and sustain it with justice and righteousness from that time and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of Hosts will accomplish this.

This is still growing in increase. It grows as men's hearts continue to open to Him. I think perhaps that since the Protestants really do not have a history of saintly men who acted like many did who were martyred and did not retaliate as is documented in Orthodox and Catholic history, which also shows the many gifts of grace to endure that , (Christ's YOKE) which seems to elude you. Its ,meaning has been obscured by aggression against your oppressors. What miraculous interventions do you have an account of, which reveals the grace to endure through Christ's yoke?

Obviously the increase of His Kingdom is a process. But men of war who are twisting His message to serve their own needs are taking away the peace of it. We are not to put stumbling blocks before men especially ill informed men. The Kingdom of heaven is just that a separate Kingdom from the world kingdoms. It is to salt those who lack salt. Christ's men are the kingdom of heaven.
"You are the salt of the earth, if the salt looses its flavor what will men be salted with". Leave His messages alone. The world will always have men who will serve according to the standard of the world. And the worldly minded can bank on that.

More men will be for that agenda than Christ's. So Caesar can be comforted in knowing, more men are on the wide straight road and enter by the wide gate. The few take the narrow road and enter by the narrow gate. If not for the few of Christ heaven would have none.

If the world system has been salted a bit, of course that bit can benefit the chosen of Christ as first fruits. But in no way is a man in debt to the service of Caesar a First Fruit, Christ holy anointed men and women are , who do not live by the sword. and that is their personal choice. You do not have to agree and their are many who agree with your stance in this forum.

There are so many fake narratives in here which lends its self to stink like those who conspire to destroy Christianity with this counterfeit gospel being preached in here. People put forth these weak arguments and say it is Christ , then some :"scholarly" man or preacher chimes in with some hard core rebuttal that tries to out rank the other to gain men to service of the world. Not cool.

There are no meek men in here, and there are no men who would actually defend the TRUE gospel of Christ in here, that is clear.

Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner. of evil against you falsely, for my sake.Matthew 5:11
That I experience every time I am in here. There is NO fear of God in here.
Proverbs 9:
The Way of Wisdom
…9Instruct a wise man, and he will be wiser still; teach a righteous man, and he will increase his learning. 10The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. 11For through wisdom your days will be multiplied, and years will be added to your life.…
Matthew 10:27-29
Fear God Alone
…27What I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the housetops. 28Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Instead, fear the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. 29Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father.…

That is what the Christian in service to God alone is called to do for the gospel, not kill his oppressors or fear being killed.
This is some strong doctrine for milk drinking men. Must be all that grape juice instead of wine being had when celebrating the Lord's supper. Oh , you guys probably don't believe in His presents in it. That would explain a lot. Partaking of it in faith gives strength and LIFE, that is the Yoke of endurance to serve Christ alone in the manner He says. Let's see if you men of Service to Caesar will support this brand of Christianity if I or other Christians be attacked for it. I argue no, because not one person in here has stood up for it outside of me, and I have used no gun and it has pierced many .The WORD OF THE LORD ENDURES FOREVER, God Bless!

The best way to overcome the fear of death is to know you will uphold Jesus words in any situation to the point of death.

Who is talking about the fear of death? I’m not. But you are claiming obedience to God w/o looking at the full context of the Bible. Foot washing was also an emphasis by Christ so why do you ignore it?

John 13:1–17 recounts Jesus' performance of this act. In verses 13:14–17, He instructs His disciples: If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you.
