It's Over - Obama Wins

That is opinion and I will defend your right to your opinion. But it is not proof. Using proof texts is dangerous. I was talking to a Scottish pastor last week. He said he will not allow anyone in conversation with him to use proof texts. He also said that Americans use proof texts much more than other Christians. It seems to be a cultural thing with us. But it is dangerous and has led to all kinds of problems. When we start slicing up the Bible to prove our own beliefs we often fall into error. Why? Because we are slicing up the message of God and not taking his message as a whole.

Is a person voting with the union any worse than a person voting the way their pastors thinks they should vote? What is the pastor is wrong?

Well let's see no proof text you say. So when we tell someone that God's word says you must call upon the name of the Lord we can't back that up with proof text. So how do you show them what God's word says about believing on the Lord Jesus for salvation. Without proof text it is just your opinion and nothing else. The Holy Spirit uses scripture to show God's way if what you say is true we have no need for the bible because it is used as proof text in our sermos too.

There is no point in going off topic. America has spoken. We WANT abortions. We want Free Birth Control. We WANT to live off the government. We WANT to have kill lists for 1 man to decide who to take out. We WANT 30,000 drones in the skies over head to keep us safe. We WANT to have our energy fossil fuels shut down so we can be cold. We WANT obamacare and the government death panels. We WANT free cell phones. We DON'T want to work, we want to be couch potatoes and let Uncle Barack feed us. We WANT Big Brother!

America has spoken. So let's stay on topic and forget about history, okay CTB?

This is, perhaps, the most irrational post I've seen in this thread.

I don't know how you can draw any of these conclusions from a group of citizens desiring one man over the other. Your post is full of ad hoc rationalizations and erroneous conclusions. I'd encourage you to rethink your post here...it seems to be loaded in one direction without reasonable consideration given to the fact some of these things aren't actually real.

Her post was an accurate reflection of the man God has placed in the Whitehouse for another 4 years, and the will of the people.

‘We’re gonna punish our enemies and we’re gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us...." Barack Obama speaking to Univision audience.
That's not referring to his US political opponents; he was drawing on a speech where it referred to our enemies in the Middle East: http://www.nationalreview.com/articles/322038/obama-middle-east-victor-davis-hanson
He is a partisan hack. And Romney is correct about the 47%. Expect that 47% to increase over the coming months. I may be one of them soon, joining the masses that suck off the government mammary.

I ask, what's the point of working? I've worked long enough, maybe it's time for some government freebies - govt housing, govt food stamps, govt cell phone, govt healthcare, whatever I can get for free. After all, I've worked all of my life since I was a kid and now may just be the time to cash in. The American Dream is dead now anyway.

Thanks, Uncle Barack.
This is overgeneralization, and as with the "you didn't build that" controversy, it seems people believe only [themselves and] their corporatist heroes work hard and truly "earn" anything. It was even pointed out that the "cell phone" program was already in place when Obama took office, for instance.

A lot of these programs are because of the high (and increasing) prices of everything, and that's unfortunate. People might blame it on one set of policies or the other, but it's totally wrong to just label all of these people as just trying to get "free handouts". (And ignoring how a major issue is the "freebies" given to corporatism. But that's different, they "earned" it!)

Lady Eagle is correct! Sadly Obama was elected again because many professing Christians have ignored the teaching of their Savior Jesus Christ and voted for:

1. a rabid abortionist and a party that advocates abortion,

2. a man and party who advocate the marriage of homosexuals,

3. A man and a party that wants to destroy the 1st Amendment of the Constitution, denying religious liberty to certain groups,

4. a man and a party who have increased the national debt by 6 trillion dollars,

5. a man and a party who have seized control of the health system,

6. a man and a party who create death panels in the legislation that took control of our health,

7. a man who is a narcissist at best and a sociopath at worst.

And for spitting in God's face, we deserve four more years of whatever hades Barack Obama can bring our way.

Then you need to stop doing that.

Honestly, God did not appoint Obama as President.

A whole bunch of unsaved voters did that.

BTW Old Regular, how did the Palmetto State do on Romney support?

I think about 55% for Romney but haven't watched TV much. We have a large black population in SC.

The lines were short when I voted yesterday. I have seen no polling results but wonder if a lot of people stayed home rather than vote for a Mormon!

'The Most High rules in the kingdom of men and gives it to whoever He will.'

And given the state of the nation (economically, morally, socially) and the present state of international relations (namely Iran and Russia); with this administration's leadership reaffirmed, I think the USA is now set up to reap what we've sowed...and I don't mean only for the last four years.

Twist it any way you need to justify your own disobedience.

God places those in positions of authority. He is sovereign over all things.

So then when Obama spends federal tax dollars to provide abortion on demands that will be God's will also?

Sorry - I don't buy it.

People used free will to vote for Obama.

What have you people been sowing anyway?

And why don't you stop it already?
