I recently got over the worse flu I have ever had. Aches, chills, fever. Thankfully we had some Ivermectin on hand. And by next morning it was gone. I am glad I live in a country (Mexico) that, at least in this area, has common medical sense.

A Primitive Baptist preacher friend of mine very recently fended off a severe case of the Delta variant with ivermectin, carefully self-medicating with the drug obtained from Tractor Supply* (KY is not in Mexico ).

We already know it is.It will be interesting to see if it is a medically effective treatment.
You can buy the human formulation of ivermectin easily in Mexico.A Primitive Baptist preacher friend of mine very recently fended off a severe case of the Delta variant with ivermectin, carefully self-medicating with the drug obtained from Tractor Supply* (KY is not in Mexico ).

Perhaps so. Do you have a link to the study?Jon, Ivermectin has been proven over and over in its effectiveness in millions of cases with respect to the COVID thingie.
There are a few guys, one from Canada and the other from Australia who are now living in Mexico and enjoying their freedom from the restrictions. I follow them on Brandnewtube.Yea, I was not trying to dis America. It is just sad that Americans have to use the paste form. Mexico has plenty of other stupid procedures currently. To get on the bus this morning I had to stand in this frame and get sprayed with this magic mist. SMH
Why not. Docs use stuff off label all the time.I wouldn't want to use an anti-parasite medication for a virus....but I wouldn't want a virus either.

SC was doing a study (led by Duke Clinical Research Institute), but I don't know where it is at this point.
Ohhhhh from the NIH..... oh brother.Perhaps so. Do you have a link to the study?
I found this one but the conclusions are inconclusive.
"Based on the current very low- to low-certainty evidence, we are uncertain about the efficacy and safety of ivermectin used to treat or prevent COVID-19. The completed studies are small and few are considered high quality. Several studies are underway that may produce clearer answers in review updates. Overall, the reliable evidence available does not support the use ivermectin for treatment or prevention of COVID-19 outside of well-designed randomized trials."

It's not a new drug Jon.Also, how long do the trials need to be to approve the use of Ivermectin to address diseases caused by a virus? 5 years? 10 years?
2 months, just like the vax. Also, how long do the trials need to be to approve the use of Ivermectin to address diseases caused by a virus? 5 years? 10 years?
Jon needs to take a few doses. He get dewormed he might quit being such a grouch. It's not a new drug Jon.
It's humorous that you would tout long trials in order to be approved. The "trials" for the jab were extremely short. Also, how long do the trials need to be to approve the use of Ivermectin to address diseases caused by a virus? 5 years? 10 years?
I actually don't care how long the trials are. I was saying that for the benefit of those who complain about the length of vaccine trials but jump on board when it comes to anything else. It's humorous that you would tout long trials in order to be approved.
