Ivermectin, a Godsend

Why not. Docs use stuff off label all the time.
Doc gave me off label script for a women's Brest cancer chemo for..........psoriasis on my elbow. Cleared it right up.
If I were in the hospital and my doctor recommended it, I'd give it a shot. But you won't catch me running to TSC to self-medicate.

I'm not saying it does not work - I hope it does.

I'm asking about studies.

People can say anything....and honestly. But without a legitimate study who knows? I could have covid and take Ivermectin and get better. But I could also just get covid and get better.

Are you aware of any studies. I think the one in SC started in September.

Recently Pfizer issued their findings that the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine is effective against Omnicron. They found it ineffective after 6 months in preventing infection, but effective against serious illness and death. They also found that with a booster it is 80% effective against Omicron.

Pfizer and BioNTech Provide Update on Omicron Variant | Pfizer

That is what I want to see with Ivermectin. How effective? What is the trial group? How did thise fare with the placebo?

I'm sure by now there are trials out there, I just don't know of any that confirm Ivermectin as an effective treatment.

During an interview with Yahoo Finance on Jan. 10, speaking about the Omicron variant, Bourla said: “We know that the two doses of a vaccine offer very limited protection, if any. The three doses with a booster, they offer reasonable protection against hospitalization and deaths. Against deaths, I think very good, and less protection against infection.” ( youtu.be/lhMbKyDq9_w?t=96 )

I heard Medical college in Columbia had started the study, but not heard any results.

At 40 boosters it might be. Just boost enough.
Pfizer demonstrated their vaccine is effective at least to a degree against the omnicron varient without a booster. With a booster it was effective against illness, but less so against infection.

They are working on a new vaccine to address future varients (and to sell to us ;) ).

Have not heard anything about Moderna reworking a vaccine (which would be my pick of the 3).

Their CEO said they were working on an update.

Yeah but their CEO let the real cat out of the bag.

"Self
lol neither was I recommending it.... but you'd just have to know some of these Kentucky people I hang around with...:D

"Self-medicate" is an interesting term, actually perjorative. What is the alternative to self-medication"? Well, that would be doctor-assisted medication. The medical industry. The very people who receive financial inducement to adhere to the current dangerous protocol.

I assume he had some dependable guidance before taking livestock meds. I've a book with chapters on survival medicine and using animal antibiotics for when the zombie apocalypse happens.

I had meant to reply to Jon's initial use of the term. On a bumpy bus right now. But, yes, I am sure if you measure right it will be ok. Measure twice, cut once.

One notch on the plunger, which has notches all the way up, per 50 lbs body weight for people is what I’ve read several times, for a daily dose. Usually recommend a 5 day treatment. I used to weigh my horses before determining the dose. I picked up four tubes just to have on hand, but have had no problem ordering the pills. I think it was about $67 for 20 pills, which is enough to fully treat 2 people.

I think they are like 12 mg. How do you know when to take them and when to stop? Do you split them?

I didn't mean it as a perjorative. I mean medicating one's self rather than someone who is educated in medicine determining the course of action.

Is there a difference between a person going to TSC and getting Ivermectin to treat his covid symptoms and a person going to a head shop and getting cannabis treat his anxiety?

12 mg per day for five days. I got the 6 mg, so didn’t have to split them to take twice a day. Some are taking them as a preventative course of action every few months, on a three day regiment, day one, day three, & day nine. Great anti viral properties.
