Typical narcissistic aggressive posturing by Trump: does something that he knows will annoy the Palestinians and then demands that they react calmly to it.

BTW, no-one is allowed to react angrily to this post, unless you officially declare a Day of Rage about it ;-)

That’s fine, just stop giving them money and our protection. Then they can handle all the Muslim nations alone... easy peasie
No, keep protecting our ally and let them handle things the way we handled them. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

I would think Christians would be all for making Jerusalem the Capital of Israel. Who did God give that land to? Israel!

Matt, I'm just hoping that someone over there blows something up, causing bedlam. mix it up a bit. That place is a powder keg anyway.....Then Trump will be happy cause he instigated it. Nobody ever started a war & nobody showed up.

Is the POTUS acting against the constitution by his de facto recognition of a specific religious authority over a foreign state ? Your presidents have committed huge sums of taxpayers' money to that foreign power rather than spending on the needs of the US citizens.

I fear that the Israeli government are not adverse to local war as they have ALL the firepower. Remember Gaza - virtually harmless rockets provide the excuse for the bombing of homes, hospitals, schools, sewage works & power plants.

Israel has the firepower to destroy specific targets in occupied territory without harming the illegal settlements.

Already Israel governs the entire country for the benefit of the Israeli occupation, at the expense of the US taxpayer & the Palestinian population.

And it's NOTHING to do with Bible prophecy. Micah 6:8

If Mexico were shooting those same "harmless rockets" into Texas, how long you think we would tolerate it. For the record, Mexico has a far better claim to Texas than the "Palestinians" have to any Israeli land. The only legitimate claim they have to any land would be land occupied by Jordan.

I am convinced that Gen x adults are all recalcitrant... they don’t trust him and they don’t like him, though I will never know why?!? LOL

In any event, after he plows through all these Syncopats ... about 30 % of the voting population, he will end up stuck in the mud...Gen X will not follow him, Democrats would rather he trip head first into a bucket of Used hyperdermic needles, and people who are true conservatives like me have moved far away from any established political party ... a pox on them... then he has real political enemies, as well as countries like Briton, Germany, and most of west Europe, Mexico, Canada and sure I’m missing a few aren’t seeing his ah ...charm. :Rolleyes

Your post makes a number of erroneous assumptions:

1. That the secular state of Israel founded in 1948 is identified with the theocratic Kingdom of Israel that ended in 722/ 586 BC - there are a number of significant differences
2. That the OT prophecies relating to the said theocratic Kingdom apply to the modern secular state rather than to the Church, the True Israel.
3. That the first century Jews didn't reject Jesus' teaching and thus did not have the land taken away from them - clearly they did and it was in consequence just as Jesus Himself predicted.
4. That, even if the above assumptions are correct, which they are not, this entitles modern Jews and Israelis to exclusive possession to the land - it doesn't: as I said earlier, we fought a deadly war last century to combat the notion that one particular race is entitled to exclusive possession of land. The idea similarly failed in South Africa. Why try to resurrect that evil concept?

Not really: 85% of the non-Jewish population of Mandate Palestine were forced to leave their homes during the war establishing the State of Israel in 1948. They have as much right to live there as you or I do in our homes. What gives you the right to deny them that right?

Replacement theology garbage.
Modern Jews are not a "race."

Their home in 1948 was supposed to be Trans Jordan. Maybe you should go back and read the treaties that actually pertain to the topic at hand.

I have. Their home according to whom? I don't believe any of them signed up to it. Sounds like the racist 'treaties' pertaining to the Native Americans.

It's racism. No one calling himself a Christian should have anything to do with it.
