I may have missed your answer -
but when you quoted Mat 1:20 (in English) (in post # 1)
What version were you using?
Basically I don't rely on any translation but use TR and Ben Chayyim Masoretic Text arranged by Ginzburg in Hebrew.
Question: Do you think the body of Jesus resembled 50% Mary and 50% God?
You must remember these aspects of Mary:
1) Mary couldn't understand what Jesus said ( Luke 2:50)
2) Mary couldn't answer the question asked by Jesus ( John 2:4)
3) Mary didn't believe Jesus would be resurrected and therefore she went to the tomb with the spice and ointment ( Luke 24:10, Mark 16:1)
4) Mary required somebody to sustain her
5) Mary was not among the crowd listening to the sermon by Jesus, to the Word of God.
6) This is very much crucial and important aspect of Mary:
Mary attempted to capture Jesus so that she may stop Him from His ministry and therefore Jesus told her and to the crowd <<< Who is my mother?>> Read Mark 3:21, 31-35, Mt 12:46-50
KJV translated < Hoi para auto> as His friends in Mark 3:21, but Hoi Para auto means Those who live together with Him under the same roof, which means Family, and those family went out to capture Him, not because they thought Jesus was mad, but because the neighbors criticized He is mad. This is why I don't rely on KJV.

So, in verse 31, they reach the place where Jesus was preaching and told someone that they want to speak to Jesus. Jesus knew their intention even before they started from their home, and therefore He said
<<<<
33 And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother, or my brethren? 34 And he looked round about on them which sat about him, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! 35 For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother>>>>

Jesus disobeyed Mary and completely ignored her, in opposition to the claims by Catholics who say < Jesus will obey His mother all the time, otherwise, He will be in contradiction to His commandment of Honor thy mother> ( CCC 2678-79)
So, Mary attempted to commit the horrendous sin against God by preventing Him from preaching the Gospel and Salvation.

7) Remember this < Gennao> verb appeared 40 times in Matthew chapter 1, 39 times it is translated into begot, but only once in verse 20, it is translated into conceived. If a surrogate mother is pregnant by IVF, with an embryo from other couple, then the surrogate mother has conceived a baby, one can say, even though her egg or ovum was not used at all. Such conception of Conceive is used in Luke 1:31, 2:21 as Conceive doesn't care of Biological or Surrogate.

8) You must remember Mary was born from the earth, while Jesus was born from Heaven.
Mary belongs to the race of Adam, while Jesus is the Last Adam or Second Adam
Read 1 Cor 15:
45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
47 The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.

Mary belongs to Adam's Race, but Jesus belongs to Heaven

Do you think the brain cells of Jesus resembled 50% Mary and 50% God?
I don't think so.

If E = mc2 then we can divide and conclude...

Mass (m) = Energy (E/c2) --- Making this eternal stuff... All mass is basically cooled plasma... It would take quite the mind to create living organisms out of plasma energy!

Atoms - Encapsulated forms of energy and light - C2 in the denominator makes for the potential of a lot of energy!
Cells - Trillions of atoms within a single cell
Body - Trillions of cells in a human body

God created Christ Jesus in a virgins womb by his own creative power. In which only he could do. There was no word on how he did all of that... Only...

A virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. - Isaiah 7:14

So you don't know what translation you used?
Couldn't you understand what I stated?
I said this <<<<< Basically I don't rely on any translation but use TR and Ben Chayyim Masoretic Text arranged by Ginzburg in Hebrew.>>>>
I read Greek TR and Hebrew Masora, why should I rely on the translations?
I have read Greek NT completely 5 times, and Hebrew OT 3 times, though I refer to the translations like KJV, YLT, Darby, HCSB, even Peshitta Aramaic NT sometimes.
Translations are not my authority but the Greek NT and Hebrew OT are.

Where is the previous body of Jesus gone when God created Jesus in the virgin womb?

Jesus could be even faster than the light speed.
God took a virgin and insert the existing human embryo into her, and He can come out of a woman.
In case of the surrogate mother, there is no problem with the prophecy.
1) This relates to the question since when the Body of Jesus has existed.
Jesus said < Before Abraham was, I AM> The brain of Jesus telling this truth must have existed before Abraham was, and the same brain of Jesus at the time of Abraham and that at the time of Jesus speaking to the Jews was telling < I AM> If a new brain was formed by the fertilization between Ovum of Mary and Sperm given by God, then the new brain would not have such memory.
2) Another point is that a certain prototype Body should have existed for creating the body of Adam in Genesis 1:27.
Whose body was used? Holy Spirit? He has no body, God the Father? In general God the Father no flesh ( John 4:24), though He has the throne. Bible clearly says that Jesus was the Prototokos of all creation in Col 1:15 and He is the Creator of all things ( Col 1:16-18, John 1:1-3). So, I believe Jesus was the prototype of Adam's body.

3) Genesis 18:1-8 tells us Jehovah appeared to Abraham and ate the meal provided by Abraham.
He ate Bread, Cake, Milk, Butter, Veal meat, and got His feet washed and spoke with Sarah as well and heard what she whispered.
It was not a dream, nor any Simulacrum but it was an actual life. God used His body. Whose body was used? God the Holy Spirit? God the Father? God the Son? Yes, because no other Godhead is mentioned for that encounter but Jesus said clearly John 8:56-58 <<<<
56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.
58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.>>>>

No other Godhead is mentioned about Abraham

4) 1 Cor 15:45-47 mentions First Adam and Another Adam or Last Adam- Jesus
Mary belongs to First Adam, Jesus doesn't belong to First Adam. If Jesus had taken anything from Mary, genetically, He must be a combination between the First Adam and the Celestial Being like the Nephilim which was condemned by God.
But simply speaking Mary belonged to the first Adam which was passed with the death ( Romans 5:12)
while Jesus came down from the Heaven ( John 6:38)

So, both Mary and Jesus are clearly separated.

This has to be the most bizarre thread ever. Does no one here know the doctrine of the hypostatic union, agreed on over 1600 years ago by all orthodox theologians? Don't look at me; I don't plan to post beyond this. Don't have time. I'll just keep lurking and shaking my head.

P.S. Gennao (γεννάω) does not occur 40 times in Matthew 1, but only 16. And there are other errors here.

Jesus could be even faster than the light speed.
God took a virgin and insert the existing human embryo into her, and He can come out of a woman.
Not according to the Bible. There, we read that Mary would conceive in her womb, not that God would insert an already-exiisting embryo into her womb:

Luk 1:30 Then the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.
Luk 1:31 And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name JESUS.

In case of the surrogate mother, there is no problem with the prophecy.
She was not a surrogate mother. Prophecy says that a virgin would conceive. A surrogate mother doesn't conceive; she hosts an already-existing embryo.
When Jesus said, "Before Abraham was, II am," He was no more saying that He had a physical body before Abraham than when God the Father said to Moses:

NKJV Exo 3:14 And God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM." And He said, "Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, 'I AM has sent me to you.' "

2) Another point is that a certain prototype Body should have existed for creating the body of Adam in Genesis 1:27.
Why was a prototype body needed for creating Adam's body? You might just as well claim that a prototype sun was needed before God could create the actual sun, but such things are just limiting God.
Whose body was used? Holy Spirit? He has no body, God the Father? In general God the Father no flesh ( John 4:24), though He has the throne. Yes, there are certainly Theophanies or Christophanies (pre-incarnate appearances of Christ) in the Old Testament, just as we have instances of angels, which are spiritual beings, appearing in bodily form. A Christophany is not the same is incarnation. The New Testament makes clear that Christ did not come in a pre-existing body:

NKJV Jhn 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

Heb 10:5 Therefore, when He came into the world, He said: "SACRIFICE AND OFFERING YOU DID NOT DESIRE, BUT A BODY YOU HAVE PREPARED FOR ME.

That is not what the Bible tells us. Because Mary became pregnant by the operation of the Holy Spirit, Jesus was born without being what the Bible calls "in Adam."

You can be quiet. I won't wake you up! Matthew chapter 1 has 40 times of gennao. I hope you can count more than 16. Count it again!
All begat is translated from gennao verb. Begat means gave birth to.

Luk 1:30 Then the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.
Luk 1:31 And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name JESUS.//]
When a surrogate mother got pregnant with a human embryo provided by another couple, by IVF, what do you call her pregnancy? She is conceived! So, Conceived doesn't distinguish between Biological mother and the surrogate mother!
So, you are claiming the body and the brain of Jesus was newly created in the womb of Mary?
What you are saying is that the brain of Jesus started to exist only after He was born out of Mary but still remember the actual experience with Abraham 2000 years earlier and eternity before.
She was not a surrogate mother. Prophecy says that a virgin would conceive. A surrogate mother doesn't conceive; she hosts an already-existing embryo.//]
Surrogate mother Conceive! when the embryo settles on the uterus! You misunderstand my points as if I deny the Virgin conceived a child. You may be claiming the Virgin create a baby without any external influx. You'd better check with OB doctors about the conception by the surrogate mothers. Hosting the already existing embryo is Conception!

<<<<<
A surrogate mother conceives a baby through In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) or, less commonly, Intrauterine Insemination (IUI). The process involves creating an embryo in a laboratory using the egg and sperm from the intended parents or donors, which is then transferred to the surrogate’s uterus.

The method of conception determines the genetic relationship:

  • Gestational Surrogacy: The surrogate carries an embryo created from the intended parents' or donors' egg and sperm. She has no genetic link to the baby. >>>>>

Conceive and Conception is different from Fertilization! Check with Internet!
When Jesus said, "Before Abraham was, II am," He was no more saying that He had a physical body before Abraham than when God the Father said to Moses://]
Apparently, Jesus remembers the event with Abraham which He personally, physically experienced. If the brain of Jesus was formed by the ovum of Mary, it should have been a new brain which had no memory of 2000 years earlier
NKJV Exo 3:14 And God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM." And He said, "Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, 'I AM has sent me to you.' "//]
Yes, the deity of Jesus covers Omni-presence space-wise and time-wise as He could bring up Elias and Moses ( Mt 17:3). I AM is the translation of the Haya verb in Hebrew which formed Yehowah and that same person is most likely Jesus Christ as Hebrews 11:26 says Moses <<6 Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.>>>> Moses lived for Christ! How many Christ exist? only one. Jesus Christ!
Why was a prototype body needed for creating Adam's body? You might just as well claim that a prototype sun was needed before God could create the actual sun, but such things are just limiting God.//]
Because Bible says Gen 1:27 <<< וַיִּבְרָא אֱלֹהִים אֶת־הָאָדָם בְּצַלְמוֹ בְּצֶלֶם אֱלֹהִים בָּרָא אֹתוֹ>>> God created the adam in His Likeness of Likeness. Do you see the double repetition of Tselem of Elohim? Strong Emphasis! Sun, moon, snake, elephants, rabbit, mouse are the creatures produced by the Prototokos, but we human beings are different from other creatures. James 3:9 mention this so as to respect other human beings<<< 9 Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.>>>>
So, Bible itself says God used His own likeness to create a man. Whose likeness was used? Holy Spirit? God the Father? Bible has the answer here:
Col 1:15 <<< ὅς ἐστιν εἰκὼν τοῦ θεοῦ τοῦ ἀοράτου πρωτότοκος πάσης κτίσεως>>>>
Neither Holy Spirit nor God the Father was the prototokos for the Creation.
Ephesians 3:9 confirms this <<<< And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:>>>>
All creation was done by Jesus and the human body was created in the likeness of Jesus Christ! Jesus had His own body!
John 1:3
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
I am not limiting God but want everyone know about the Creator Jesus better and more accurately.
Because Mary became pregnant by the operation of the Holy Spirit, Jesus was born without being what the Bible calls "in Adam."//]
Holy Spirit arranged the body of Jesus to be in the size and form of Embryo. You may know the human embryo is like New York or London, a huge city. At first Ovum may be like New York without electricity and water supply but the sperm like a size of San Francisco is added to New York, then it forms a perfect city structure, then when it is settled unto the uterus, it is connected with all the utilities like water supply, electricity, gas line, oxygen supply, energy and nutrition, waste water etc.
Jesus could see the future body He would enter in the future. That's what Jesus said in Hebrew 10:5. The arrangement was done by the Holy Spirit.
Word itself was God, the Almighty God in John 1:1-3. God the Word ( 1 John 5:7) could carry any form of flesh or body in any size and can transform it whatever in His manner.
Truth is that Mary belonged to First Adam, while Jesus didn't! Jesus Himself is another Adam or the Last Adam ( 1 Cor 15:45-47)
Jesus came down from Heaven ( John 6:38), but Mary didn't come down from Heaven. All the race of Adam was of the Earth but Jesus came from Heaven. Who else can say < I am from Heaven>?
Mary was of the earth. If the body of Jesus was formed by the ovum of Mary, Jesus couldn't say that He is from Heaven, because He is partly from the Earth and partly from Heaven. Nephilim was like that ( Gen 6:4)
Romans 5:12
12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
Death passed upon all men, which means Death passed upon Mary too. Body of Mary has got the death factors and her ovum was also contaminated with the sin and the death, because it is the organ thru which the death passed to the next generations.
Jesus didn't inherit any death factors from Mary.
Jesus was another Adam or the Last Adam and had the same body as the body of the first Adam before the FALL.
First Adam got the perfect body before the Fall, and by the sin, the death factors entered Adam and they passed upon all generations.
Jesus didn't fail even though He had the same body as the Adam's before the Fall.
Jesus didn't belong to Adam's race as Mary did. If the body of Jesus was formed by the ovum of Mary, the sinner, then the death factors would have been inherited by Jesus. It didn't happen to Jesus who is sinless, without blemish, without any factor of diabetes or MS or leukemia, High blood pressure, Blood clotting, or any syndrome etc.
Adam's race and Second Adam's race are totally different!
Jehovah ate the meal, bread, cake, veal meat, butter, milk, got His feet washed, spoke with Abraham and Sarah.
Moses spoke with Jehovah face to face. Jehovah had a body.
J.N. Darby said < To me, it is as clear as the Sun at noon time that Jesus is Jehovah of the OT>
It is the same to me as well.

Count again. I did. Still 16.:Biggrin
verse 2 : 3 verse 3: 3 verse 4: 3 verse 5: 3, verse 6: 2, v 7: 3, v 8: 3 v 9: 3 = 23
v 10: 3, v 11: 1, v 12: 2 v 13: 3, v 14: 3, v15: 3, v16:1, v 20:1 = 17
Total 40 in chapter 1 of Matthew

I didn't count gennesis Noun form of gennao, which is Birth
nor geneai which is generation.
So, gennao is normally translated as begat or born instead of conceive
In case of γεννηθὲν, Aorist Passive Participle, so it means BORN but
none of the translations translated it to BORN as far as I know.

Apparently, Jesus remembers the event with Abraham which He personally, physically experienced. If the brain of Jesus was formed by the ovum of Mary, it should have been a new brain which had no memory of 2000 years earlier
You are confusing the human nature with the divine nature. Christ’s divine knowledge does not depend on a human brain, and His pre‑incarnate existence did not include a human body or human organ. Your argument assumes comic‑book biology and a pre‑existent human body, neither of which Scripture teaches. Christ remembered Abraham because He is God, not because He carried a 2,000‑year‑old human brain into the incarnation.

This would be laughable if it were not so utterly sad.
