Jesus ceased to be God?

Yes, Jesus was really tempted in his humanity, as he experienced it as we do, but with 2 HUGH differences, as he had no sin nature to respond back to want more, and being being God, He would not sin!

Did Adam have a sin nature?

If Jesus ceased to be God, we are not saved.God was on the cross for our sins and as a human w share in His death. The only way we are saved is that He was God and He was man

We are spiritual beings and physical beings

So, a hyper Calvinist finally states there is something that completely Sovereign God CAN NOT do.

Buddy, I am not a hyper-Calvinist. Strike one.

God can not sin. Strike two.

And God is completely sovereign. Strike three. Yer out!

If He were not capable of sinning, His temptation was not real. One can not be tempted with something they can not do.
On the contrary, it made the temptations worse since He could have no relief by giving in to them. If you heat pure gold up to 1,000 degrees or whatever, you will still get no dross from it, but that doesn't make the temperature any less.

Buddy, If God is completely Sovereign by the way you define Sovereignty when we are discussing Salvation, then He can do anything.

Jesus being very God Himself, would be experiencing directly something that He never could before, what sin pressure to fall really feels like!
