"Saved-By-Grace
That unscriptural language is not found in the NT.
These people do not exist...instead we do find...WE are made accepted in the Beloved
4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
Is the Bible wrong when it says:
"The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let
the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life" (Revelation 22:17)
“Come now,
let us reason together, says the LORD: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow;
though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool.
If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land;
but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be eaten by the sword; for the mouth of the LORD has spoken.” (Isaiah 1:18-20)
"And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the LORD,
choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” (Joshua 24:15)
"
Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30)
"First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for
all people,
for kings and
all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior,
who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth." (1 Timothy 2:1-4)
"For God so loved
the world, that he gave his only Son, that
whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16)
"But
false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be
false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who
bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction" (2 Peter 2:1)
"knowing this first of all, that
scoffers will come in the last days with scoffing, following their own
sinful desires...The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is
patient toward you,
not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance" (2 Peter 3:3, 9)
