To have that couple in obedience to the Moral law of God is to obey the Lord!If the church committee members trust in the works of the moral law in order to be sanctified, they need to fulfill the law perfectly according to Mathew 5:48. If not, they will heap hell fire upon themselves for condemning others for non-fulfilment of the moral law.
No. They are living in blatant sin and show a lack of true conversion. This is open hostilitybto Gods Word not a slip of the tongue or a weak moment
Which God supplies to His very own!
If the church committee knows what the moral law is, they should first live in perfect compliance to it according to Mathew 5:48, before preaching it to others. To have that couple in obedience to the Moral law of God is to obey the Lord!
Peter challenges us as believers to work out our own salvation as does James. We are accountable for our sanctification (along w the Spirit working in us). In justification, we are totally dependent (at the mercy of/on) God
Phil2:12 exhorts to work or use salvation to do good deeds and not to do good deeds to earn salvation.Phil 2:12. It is addressed to believers
Bible never talks about works based salvation.
Phil2:12 exhorts to work or use salvation to do good deeds and not to do good deeds to earn salvation.
Justification is a work wrought by God through the Spirit ONLY. It is monorgistic
Sanctification is the Spirit working in is to bring about true godliness
I have never said that good works result in salvation
So your good works result in your sanctification?
Are you sinless?
Its not hard man. Noone is sinless
Surely, you do not believe in let go and let God
The Bible makes it clear that we are to foresake every form of evil ie adultery, drunkesness, pornography etc
It is not the will of God for all to be healthy wealthy!Faith which is supplied by God to His elect will be seen in the elect. Thus they would say "it's God's will to protect me" rather than "if it's God's will He will protect me".
Are you living per the OT law perfectly? If the church committee knows what the moral law is, they should first live in perfect compliance to it according to Mathew 5:48, before preaching it to others.
