I was at Moody Bible Institute in the early 90s and was talking with a professor who was Jewish, yet a Christian. The conversation turned to John MacArthur and his anti-Semitism. MacArthur had been on the board of trustees at that time. The professor confirmed that, at that time, John MacArthur was anti-Semitic. MacArthur may have changed. That was nearly 30 years ago.
Doubtful. Here is a sermon from MacArthur in 1972, well before your time at Moody.

And even today, one of the most despicable things in existence is anti-Semitism. The Jews have been mistreated all through the years partly due to the fact of their own failure to recognize God and so God has chastised them in this way.

John F. MacArthur Jr., John MacArthur Sermon Archive (Panorama City, CA: Grace to You, 2014).

So there alone, you have slandered MacArthur again calling him anti-semite without actual proof and despite proof that destroys the claim. You lose all credibility on this topic.

So you won't retract your statement about John MacArthur and anti-semitism? Bearing false witness again....

John MacArthur should repent.

You should repent for bearing false witness about him. I noticed that a third time you have ignored the fact that you slandered him on Anti-Semitism even after being shown not once, but twice, that you were wrong.
David, I'm not bearing false witness. You are rejecting my witness and calling it false. I consider you to be wrong. Again, we are not going to agree. You need to let this go. I hear you. I think you are wrong. You think I'm wrong. We both move on.

Yes, because I gave you proof that 18 years before you claim someone told you he was anti-semitic, he rebuked anti-semitism form the pulpit. Do you deny this? How can you stand there in good conscience and say that MacArthur is an anti-semite in the 90's when I give you evidence from 1972 that he is not? YES that is bearing false witness against him. You have hearsay, I have actual evidence.

I don't care for what went on in this case. If it were a regular occurrence I would never listen to them. However, I have listened to them for years and this is not the norm from my experience. I am glad for that.

It's quite normal for them. One of many reasons I like them.

They are obviously ignorant about J M.

I listened to the audio earlier on. Todd Friel is clearly doing something silly, but that fits his 'style.' I do not mean that as a good thing. I disagree with the tone of Wretched Radio.

That said, theologically John MacArthur is right. He starts with "go home!" but immediately explains why doctrinally. I see nothing wrong with John MacArthur's response, the comedic set up by Todd Friel is what I hate.

The problem with this whole thing is that Beth Moore and her allies, who turned out to be a very large and angry crowd demanding women pastors, cannot be allowed to win. Seculars are calling Macarthur a misogynist, and if your careful you will see it has to do with the bible and the role of women in church and marriage.

I mean we are all who agree with John Macarthur doctrinally, which is almost all of us, being called false prophets, false teachers, Satan tempting Jesus, and anti-woman for our doctrine by Beth Moore's defenders.

This is big IMHO, if Beth Moore's defenders win the hearts and minds of most conservative Christians, then the American church is dead except for a remnant holding out.

Difference being David presented evidence and you presented.........nothing.

Excactly. It's not a matter of me thinking they are wrong, it is a matter that I PROVED they were wrong.
I think most people are now taking lessons from the Democrats. When faced with insurmountable evidence, they dismiss it as "your opinion" and then change the subject completely.

David and Reynolds, I suspect it would take an egregious sin before you would find any fault with a preacher you clearly adore, look up to and put on a pedestal. I have made my point. I am done talking with you on this subject.
