I said originally that the artificial gap in Daniel made it possible for Liberty U. and Dispensationalist to keep the visions and the prophecies alive just as the Pentecostals do.

To say that there is an "artificial gap" in the Holy Scriptures is sinful. God does nothing artificial.

And this is why I reject all prophecy. Because I know the 70 weeks were contiguous and Christ fulfilled the 70th week, dying in the middle of it as planned.

To say that you reject all prophecy means that you reject Scripture, because a huge amount of Scripture is prophecy.

Judging by these statements, and your earlier answer of "No" (post 92) to Jon saying, "Well, do you evangelize/soul-win?" (post 91), you need to get on your knees and ask forgiveness for not obeying the Great Commission. You need revival in your life, and I say this kindly as a Christian rebuke, not criticism.

Restored Roman Empire, 7 year tribulation, rebuilt temple with sacrifices, future Antichrist (ignoring the Papacy as the Antichrist in history) and Russia marching on Israel etc... All false prophecy.

Paul wrote this when the Charismatic gifts were in full use. All listed remain except "prophet". No longer passed through the Apostles hands since their deaths. You can redefine the word and call anything you want by it. But the charismatic gifts ended with the Apostles.

I'm sorry, I used their definition of the 70 weeks which I subscribe to. But believe the weeks are contiguous.

I did however lift a quote from their page that explains how I understood the question.

Here's the Dispensationalist version of Daniel 9:27

[After a gap of thousands of years between the 69th and 70th weeks] “He [Antichrist] will confirm a covenant [peace treaty] with many for one week [while seated in a rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem with animal sacrifices restored, during a three and a half year great tribulation]. But in the middle of that week [7-year reign of Antichrist] he will bring [restored animal] sacrifices and offerings to a halt. On the wing of abominations will come one who destroys [Russia], until the decreed end is poured out on the one who destroys [Russia].”” (Daniel 9:27)

Funny thing, but many Jewish interpreters take Daniel literally, and are preparing to build a modern temple.
