We are in a Cult of death though in this nation, as we have legislated and had judges pronounce the death sentence upon infants, who have been executed in the millions mainly due to the sake of "not planned for/not wanted.cannot support" etc!
You may be in a cult of death, but it is not because of Roe vs Wade. That only negated laws prohibiting abortion. If the GOP ever overturned Roe vs Wade, abortion would still be legal. It would just move the decision to the states.

The irony is that Republican appointed Justices have had the majority on the Supreme Court since the 1970's....we're talking half a century that Republicans have controlled the Supreme Court.
The thing is that we never really had a conservative majority, as always was it seems 4-4 and a moderate would decide normally wrong, and Justice Roberts was to be a sold conservative, but he had ebded up being jelly fish!

Which would still mean much less infanticide allowed!

Not in the fullness of it until the second coming, as I am not a preteriest!
But as a Christian why do you believe you need to ignore God's Kingdom until the Second Coming?

If you are not participating in the Kingdom now, what makes you think you will in the future?

How? It would not make abortion illegal, it would not close even one abortion clinic.....how would it result in less infanticide when it would not even result in less abortions?

Are you saying that some saved will not make it into the Kingdom Age?

There are many states whose people would desire to outlaw it, correct?

There are people in all states who desire to outlaw it. But even if a few states did that would not stop abortion. It is not difficult or illegal to cross a state line (I do it daily).

Would be proud to live in a state that made it illegal!

Odds are none would. My point is the GOP has created a narrative around abortion that it knows can never happen. They have fooled people and are using then for political capital just as the DNC has fooled so many Black Americans and are using them for political gain.

You really think Utah would not?

This ignores the actual practice. The Reps have “played the gentleman” by nominating left leaning justices to supposedly “keep the balance” on the Court. Roberts is an example. The Dems may have nominated some less left leaning ones, though I don’t recall whom. But the Dems have been especially vicious with staunch constitutional nominees. Their practice was nicknamed “borking” after one such victim.

[Jhn 18:36 KJV] 36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

[Luk 21:31 KJV] 31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.

Good point that the government was for Godly people.

So the GOP has been using abortion as a narrative to gain votes. Realizing this, it seems that the best position for the Christian to take against abortion is not the GOP but the Church and reaching out to give those women the gospel of Jesus Christ, helping them to see another way and an option for the child, if poverty is the issue help open up a way for the mother and child to live, if other issues are present help find a way to save the child (perhaps adoption), and if abortion is performed continue to show the woman the love of Christ.

last paragraph is spot on, the other two that I didn't quote you on apply to me but not to you - there is a world of difference between living in RvW hell on earth and a state like South Carolina. There are taxpayer funded abortions here legal throughout a pregnancy and there's a law that would kick in to reimplement RvW in the unlikely event it's overturned. I can vote Republican all I want to and it's not going to matter on the Left Coast.

I could move. but this is all I know, and if I do, I'll vote R in every state election because that does work. Your alternative is voting for a political party that doesn't have any problem with abortion after birth and making you pay for it. It's not a matter of what the Republicans say, it's what the Democrats do and right now I'm looking at an old Inslee flier that claims a vote for his opponent is a vote against "women's health", how Orwellian. He sure doesn't think it's MY BODY when it comes to making me wear one of his worthless masks. Pray for that idiot, too, he needs it.
