Would Fox News lie?

If you are going to be a politician you better get used to having microphones pointed at you.

Being a reporter does not mean you are afforded carte blanche. A reporter entering a private office without permission, interrupting what was taking place within the office and sticking a microphone in someone's face demanding answers, IS what that reported did. I'm surprised that only his glasses were allegedly broken.

Yeah, that's worthy of an attack, fer sure. That's very uncharacteristic behavior for reporters, never seen before.

It's not news that many reporters are aggressive and disrespectful and often uninvited to block people's walkway, harass people coming and going from their home and work place, take and publish photos without permission, and invade people's private space of their person.

You may think it "uncharacteristic", of reporters to be invasive, others don't.

My sentiments exactly.
Big deal. The Jack Wagon reporter deserved it. Sane people do not get in peoples face and antagonize them. Invading someone's personal space is justification for the person to defend themselves, in certain instances.

Stop pretending that you think you know what I want. I don't feel anything about it.

I knew that if Gianforte physically assaulted this reporter, and he did, he would probably get more votes. It was the second post in this entire thread. That's how things roll in Montana. (I've got aunts in Helena, I've got cousins in Spokane, WA. I've got a handle on the ethos up there.)

The second post should have been your last, then. But you've been pronouncing him guilty of assault for six pages. And Spokane ain't Montana.

I don't know why you've taken such a keen interest in me. Hopefully it won't become the same obsession you have with Crabtownboy. That's creepy.

  1. He is guilty.
  2. He apologized.
  3. The sheriff charged him.
  4. Fox news reported it.
  5. The reporter is giving the broken glasses to the Newseum

He did not specifically apologize for grabbing the neck or throwing him to the floor, but "his actions" sounds pretty inclusive to me. :)

So we will have an admitted criminal in the House of Representatives!
You mean like:

Anthony Weiner (D-NY) was convicted of 'sexting' a 15 year old girl and was made to sign the sexual offenders register. (2017)[1]

Corinne Brown (D-FL) was convicted on 18 felony counts of wire and tax fraud, conspiracy, lying to federal investigators, and other corruption charges. (2017)

Chaka Fattah (D-PA) was convicted on 23 counts of racketeering, fraud, and other corruption charges. (2016)

Jesse Jackson, Jr. (D-IL) pleaded guilty February 20, 2013, to one count of wire and mail fraud in connection with his misuse of $750,000 in campaign funds. Jackson was sentenced to two and one-half years' imprisonment. (2013)

Laura Richardson (D-CA) was found guilty on seven counts of violating US House rules by improperly using her staff to campaign for her, destroying the evidence and tampering with witness testimony. The House Ethics Committee ordered Richardson to pay a fine of $10,000. (2012)

William J. Jefferson (D-LA) was charged in August 2005 after the FBI seized $90,000 in cash from his home freezer. He was re-elected to the House in 2006, but lost in 2008. He was convicted November 13, 2009, of 11 counts of bribery and sentenced to 13 years in prison. (2009) Jefferson's Chief of Staff Brett Pfeffer, was sentenced to 84 months for bribery. (2006)

Frank Ballance (D-NC) admitted to federal charges of money laundering and mail fraud in October 2005 and was sentenced to four years in prison. (2005)[35]

Jim Traficant (D-OH) was found guilty on ten felony counts of financial corruption, sentenced to eight years in prison and expelled from the House of Representatives. (2002)

What planet have you been living on?:rolleyes:
