This country HAS NOT BEEN DOWN THIS BEFORE.
Baptists did not target a major US city and kill thousands.
Baptists did not decieve (lie to government officials) to gain admission into the USA.
Baptists did not take jobs and then demand accomodation for their special religious needs.
And just because you adopted a <edited-LE> child, there is no reason for me to feel that your adoption makes muslims as a whole safer for the security of this country.

Lagardo said:I have never encountered a muslim praying out loud in an intimidating manner...and I'm remembering 7 weeks in a muslim country.
Hailed many a cab in those 7 weeks too.
Shared the Gospel with a group of people in the foyer of a mosque
And the biggest blessing of all...We adopted a child who, because of his ethnicity, would have been raised muslim by law. Yet, as an American, he has religious freedom and that gives him a greater opportunity to accept Christ.
Religious freedom is a wonderful thing, but it means we will need to accept the fact that others will have other faiths or no faith at all. We also need to realize that this freedom gives us the greates opportunity for evangelism.
It seems there are some who are in favor of the government imposing restrictions on religion. I suppose to many, that will be ok, as long as its Islam or something foreign that is restricted. Unfortunately, it usually doesn't stop there.
This country has been down this road before...at one time, the dreaded religion that was persecuted was the Baptist faith.
I keep seeing posts where someone feels its time to use the government to rid us of the problems of false religions, homosexuality, etc. Wouldn't it be nice if we took the more biblical approach and evangelized instead?
Of course, that's coming from the Bible...it may not be endorsed by FOX News.
