I have no interest, really it doesn’t concern me. My interest lies in my continued relationship with my Lord and savior first, then my wife and family, then my making money.
...
maybe my community, my state, my home may look odd to you, heartless to you, liberal to you but they are Jersey Tough and they generally work together, pray together and love one another irregardless of held political positions, race, economics etc.
If you don't care at all, then why did you try to counter someone else with your own two cents about Christian Liberal Progressives? I merely countered yours with my own. You could have addressed that or left it at that, but instead started trying to argue with me as though I were one of the Progressive Leftists I described.

I might be interested to read what serious Liberal Progressives, aka Social Justice Warriors, who are Christians and love you really think about your radical capitalism and reliance on war to achieve. The Progressive Leftists I've come across just don't live in that reality. However, if they would put the Lord and family first, fellowship would be achievable.

It is interesting to me at least that I live in a state that has had no riots, no looting, no arson etc. we all live in a state of mutual harmony and respect without the apparent haters portrayed by the media. I’ve not experienced any of that vitriol.

You are making far more of my comments than warranted. My comments about New Jerseyans was merely in relation to your own descriptions. You have made no secret of your extreme anti-Trump views, even blaming him for New Jersey woes. That the state fell for, as you put it, "this grifter," and you cannot understand how is deliciously intriguing.

Thank God there are many states, and many more cities and communities, that have not succumbed to the riots, looting, arson, etc. I don't recall anyone here saying that looks odd; certainly not I.

I disagree about Kemp. In Georgia Kemp did a lot to help Trump. He was an outspoken Trump supporter. But like Pence, he was unwilling to forfeit his integrity to obey Trump. And Kemp will pay the price.

I agree that Trump did little to harm the nation. We all knew he would fight to the end (this is one reason he was elected). But the little he did was enough to have huge consequences.

His blame is simply his mouth. It is amazing because his policies were outstanding. He did so much to benefit the nation. But he also had a problem controlling his tongue and in the end much of his accomplishments will be undone because of it.

He misled his supporters into thinking the election could be overturned. He exaggerated the provable fraud in the election. He acted as if Kemp could legally change the results of Georgia. He acted as if Pence could stop the counting of the certificates.

This went past the time for political posturing.
JC, your points here and elsewhere are well taken. My main point is that the Reps did not seriously deal with the dilemma they placed Trump in by not dealing with election fraud, Kemp included. That's why I said, "in the end." They may as well have been in bed with the Dems in that effort.

Some seem to imagine Trump brought a lot of people into the GOP fold. They are badly mistaken. Trump was reshaping the GOP and too many Reps were not really on board with that. Their resistance will result not only in their losing the presidency, but many other gains besides, including many who were pro-Trump. They have no one to fill Trump's shoes and evidently are now at odds with Trump, a recipe for disaster.

The blame goes to the Reps. They could have taken the stand Trump did much earlier, Cruz would have been a good candidate, but none of them did so and Trump seized the moment.

I’ve personally have no interest in fellowship with anyone save my own family. As I’ve stated, God then family then making money is where my interests lie. I’ve not encountered any social liberal progressives who don’t appreciate me as a capitalist... in fact they do. Money makes the world go round and everyone has some interest in being financially secure so....As to my beliefs about the necessity of war, I believe they appreciate it as a prospective on where the world could be going in the future as some have given their blessings to there children enlisting. Naturally then they are mostly interested in military strategy and prospective. Makes sense right.

Lastly I have noted (from conversation, always conversation) that the youth in this country... let’s say 30 years and under, just don’t have the same values that the 55 and older crowd do. My son for example, under 30 and living his own life in Florida focuses on job. / career, his wife, then his mother, father... then his extended family. He doesn’t have much interest in organized religion, nore does he concern himself with politics. This event at the Capitol however was a water shed moment where he was really buffited by what he saw. That image of seeing the Nations Capital being overwhelmed by Trumpers has lift its mark on him. I’m fairly certain that it left its mark with many young impressionable people in this country and ferments a lasting impression on them.
