What you guys are failing to realize is that I dont want to do this. Im fine with retiring. If I could give some exposure to sending men out to explore the area & perhaps plant something that Glorifies God, that would be great.

For example, to be without life, light and holiness is equal to being WITHOUT GOD and yet you would have us believe that Abraham who is called "the friend of God" can be WITH GOD when the very characteristics of the unregenerate state is to be WITHOUT GOD. How do you defend this kind of absolute nonsense? You guessed it, by asserting your position as fact when it is that very position which is being demonstrated absolutely contradictory to fact.

Well, I have explained it several times, Biblicist, yet you refuse to address the Scripture presented to validate my view.

Here it is again:

John 14:15-18

King James Version (KJV)

15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

Now, with simple yes or no answers, please answer the following questions:

1. What is the difference between the Comforter abiding with them forever and their current state at the time of this teaching?

2. Is Christ dwelling in them at this time?

3. Is the Comforter, the Spirit of Truth...already in the world?

4. Is there a difference between the Spirit of God dwelling with them, as opposed to in them?

5. What does Christ mean when He states "I will come to you?"

6. Is that different than His ministry at the time of this teaching?

You say...

For example, to be without life, light and holiness is equal to being WITHOUT GOD and yet you would have us believe that Abraham who is called "the friend of God" can be WITH GOD when the very characteristics of the unregenerate state is to be WITHOUT GOD.

My question to you is...

...were the disciples without the Spirit of God, the Comforter, the Spirit of truth, and the indwelling of Christ at the time of this teaching?

You can ignore the questions above, I expect that. I will be ecstatic if you do. But if you choose not to answer those question, which I believe will help you understand what you are missing, at least answer this one.

The unregenerate have never been without God, Biblicist. Beginning with Adam God has always revealed His will to men, and given provision for both relationship and remission of sins. Yet you equate the remission of sins in the provision of the Old Testament with the Sacrifice of Christ, something the Bible never does. The distinction is made clear and refuted explicitly, just as the distinction between the ministries of God are made clear.

So answer the questions, or at least some, or at least one.

We cannot progress in discussion and examination of the Basis of our beliefs unless that Basis is actually examined by both parties. I have examined yours, and have received of you nothing but your opinion. That is not an address.

So in order for this not to explode into numerous posts, let's just take one issue at a time. Before you lies the issue of your assertion that one must be regenerate in order to benefit from the grace of God. Let's just stick with one issue until we can at least both say "I understand why you believe that," and leave the insults off the table.

God bless.

Perhaps my response was too detailed. I will shorten it:

Before I answer you anything, you come down quite hard on me as condemning churches for not having the Spirit of God. I never said that....and if you think I have then produce my comment.

Thus we are really working hard to bring Christ back to our own home community......and I gotta tell you, "The Spirit" has not been there for some time.

Now...would you answer my question?

(hint hint, back to topic, hint hint hint...)

God bless.
