Don't forget Fear Her, if only for that wretched, wretched line near the end when the Doctor picks up the Olympic Torch.
A lot of fans are down on Daleks in Manhattan/Evolution of the Daleks, and I agree it's not strong. But, if my prediction about the S4 season finale is right, that story will be seen in a different light. It will be seen as a necessary bridge from Doomsday to Davros.
BTW, how brilliant is it of RTD to be thinking that far ahead and have the Sycorax slice off the Doctor's hand in Christmas Invasion?
Somebody on Scifi came up with the following and I'd like to hear what you think. In Aliens of London, the Doctor thinks he's brought Rose back 12 hours after she left in Rose, but it turned out to be 12 months. I think we all wrote it off as the TARDIS doing quirky things like it would in DW Classic. I offer you a different explanation.
For us who've seen Sound of Drums, and to Don and other lurkers, who've seen the previews, you know when and where the Master goes with the Doctor's TARDIS. The first time we saw a reference to Mr. Saxon was Love&Monsters. Of course, this means that he was on Earth for a few months before that. Is it possible that we can pinpoint when the Master came back, and that he came back right before Aliens of London? Maybe the reason that the Doctor was so far off in time was because the TARDIS piloted by the Master had already arrived in London and was pulling the TARDIS piloted by the Doctor to itself? What do you think?

I think even with a few weaker stories (and the shocker L&M), generally in these last 3 seasons Chris and Dave have had enough instant classics between them to make even Jon & Tom jealous.
Did RTD have that in mind from the start with the hand trick cc? Standing ovation for him if he did :applause:
Just cheated and had a look at the episode list from the CE season and might be able to sink that TARDIS theory. While in Rose the Doctor re-materialised from where he left about half a minute before, in The Unquiet Dead it was the TARDIS of old as he landed in Cardiff 1869 and not Naples 1860.

I'll have to watch one of the Confidentials again, but I think RTD said that he had decided about 18 months prior to Sound of Drums to bring the Master back. They probably filmed Confidential at the time they shot SoD, which was sometime in January. Even if it were 18 months before the airing of SoD, that puts us at December '06 when RTD decided it.
I don't think RTD knew exactly how it would play out, but it's apparent to me that he lets nothing happen on DW that doesn't have a purpose, so, yeah, I think he thought that far ahead. Brilliant. :applause:

Did anybody here love Star Trek TNG as much as I did? I was so bummed in 1994 when it closed out its run with All Good Things. It's been 13 years, which just amazes me because 1994 seems like yesterday, and I still miss that show. Anyway, Patrick Stewart carried the show, especially during season 1. As much as I liked DS9 and Voyager, they were never as good, mostly because they lacked an actor like Stewart.
The point of all this is to show you this link, where Patrick Stewart has said that he'd love to be in Doctor Who. What fan wouldn't love to see that? Can you imagine RTD bringing Davros back and having the option of asking Ben Kingsley or Patrick Stewart to play him?

I loved Blink....although it was a widdle bit frightening...hate fright fests.....
The last episode was .....interesting.....I felt the doctor was a bit messianic.....and well it was pretty corny...I was rather disappointed actually........oh well you get that sometimes.......

The Doctor and Donna will visit Pompeii. There was a pic posted on the Skiffy DW forum showing DT and CT in a scene with other actors wearing period costumes.
The Doctor and Donna will visit Agatha Christie. Did you know that she wrote a book called The Man in the Brown Suit?
They are going to the planet Ood. No known reason why.
What I think is rubbish
If any American lurker read the site, yes, the Master dies in Last of the Time Lords. That really shouldn't be a surprise to anybody, but how it happens is a surprise. RTD has said that he did the end of LotTL the way he did for a future producer. I simply don't believe that the Master is coming back in any way in S4.
That statement makes absolutely no sense. What would the Doctor do to him? To change anything that happened in Last of the Time Lords would mean he would cross his own timeline, wouldn't it?
Finally, Rose and Mickey? If Rose comes back, that will be the clue that the show has jumped the shark. I've seen nothing about Billie Piper being signed and I find it impossible to believe that they're filming S4 and haven't signed everybody who's going to be in it yet. I really believe the Time War needs to be left as it is, something that is talked about, and something that drives some of the drama, but something that is never shown.
What I think might be interesting
Joanna Lumley as the Master? I have a better choice. How about Joanna Lumley as the Rani? That's not only a better choice, but makes far more sense.
I can only hope that most of what I read on that site is rubbish.

I saw the link about B. Piper this morning. I'm just not sure what to make of it.
However, I also saw this link, which is about the Sontarans making a return, and nothing on the S4 "spoiler" page mentions the Sontarans.
And this article contradicts the Fires of Vulcan storyline as noted in the S4 "spoiler" page.

Just saw Last of the Time Lords. I'm a little saddened. The actor played the Master much more gleefully (and maniacally, I might say) than in the older series with Pertwee and others. He had fun with the role.
But I absolutely loved the line: "they called me the face of Bo." Beautiful.
