The point again is that divorce is also an analogy to departing from God.
I don't see that anywhere in scripture.

I'm not sure what you are looking for. I gave you general truth regarding how the Lord corrects his children.
Try all the times God accuses Israel adultery.I don't see that anywhere in scripture.
They were to be partakers of the "all things common" pot, and so had made a vow to God to sell their land and bring all the proceeeds to the Apostles. They got cold feet, being tempted by the devil, through covetousness, but their vow to God was still valid, so they tried to do two things, and disembled [lied] to God [the Holy Ghost] and sold the property, pretended to give all the proceeds to the Apostles so that they could still be part of the "all things common" pot, and yet have something in reserve for themselves, while having the respect of the community. It was lack of faith at this point, but more than this, they had vowed to God, and went back on it, and more than this, they pretended to have fulfilled their end of their vow, before God and all men. They tried to keep the world and the world to come at the same time. That's interesting. So they together plotted this scheme and basically said "Let's tempt God, and lie to Him and see if He let's us get away with keeping some of this money for ourselves".
We know from rightly dividing the scripture. I realize everyone will think their brother's church is wrong and not their church and in these cases all we can do is keep our hearts humbly before God until the judgment seat of Christ. How do we know who is in error and how is the Lord rebuking and chastening them?
Again, it is based in covenantal relationship, a marriage to Christ Jesus, in decision [and thus entering into baptism]:The question I ask is, how can one depart from Christ IF Christ has made them one with Him as a new creation?Christ in you! Holy Spirit and man's spirit made alive as one. How does one then escape their new found situation of being one with Christ? It's not about just saying you believe (James 2) but it is about being born of God.
It begins with ourselves:How do we know who is in error and how is the Lord rebuking and chastening them?
No? Allow me to turn on a light:I don't see that anywhere in scripture.
Ah, yes, Deuteronomy 24:4 KJB, excellent point. We are joined to God by faith (beginning and continuing in faith- Col.1:23, 1 Cor.15:1-2) Faith is our will and God's will becoming one as in marriage (see here for more info- conceal a thing). But as in marriage (becoming one) there can be a divorce; but once you've divorced and left your husband and became another man's- you could not come back to your first husband (Dt.24:4). We partake of the divine nature of God by believing the bible (2 Pt.1:4) but we can be removed from this faith by believing damnable heresy which overthrows faith (2 Tim.2:18, 1 Tim.4:1).
Thanks! That's a good one.No? Allow me to turn on a light:
Hosea 1:2 KJB - The beginning of the word of the LORD by Hosea. And the LORD said to Hosea, Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredoms and children of whoredoms: for the land hath committed great whoredom, departing from the LORD.
Do you see now brother?
That was the nation, but God still had his faithful remnant within Israel, chosen out by Him , and saved by election grace! No? Allow me to turn on a light:
Hosea 1:2 KJB - The beginning of the word of the LORD by Hosea. And the LORD said to Hosea, Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredoms and children of whoredoms: for the land hath committed great whoredom, departing from the LORD.

Can anyone who believes in God really believe they can lie to Him and He not know? I find that strange.so they tried to do two things, and disembled [lied] to God [the Holy Ghost]
Exactly! Until death do we part, which is never seeing it is an eternal spiritual marriage in baptism of the Holy Ghost.Again, it is based in covenantal relationship, a marriage to Christ Jesus, in decision [and thus entering into baptism]:
It begins with ourselves:
Right. But you assume these things are mutually exclusive. This is what you need to prove and not assume. That was the nation, but God still had his faithful remnant within Israel, chosen out by Him , and saved by election grace!
Do you see now brother?

Hosea 1:2 KJB - The beginning of the word of the LORD by Hosea. And the LORD said to Hosea, Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredoms and children of whoredoms: for the land hath committed great whoredom, departing from the LORD.
Again, they had the freedom to do what they did within that relationship. That was the nation, but God still had his faithful remnant within Israel, chosen out by Him , and saved by election grace!
This should help you through this Calvinist generated dilemma- conceal a thingThat was the nation, but God still had his faithful remnant within Israel, chosen out by Him , and saved by election grace!
The wife of Hosea [Gomer] was an enacted parable in real life. She was an unfaithful wife to Hosea, as Israel was an unfaithful wife unto God, her husband. A wife of whoredoms. But through Hosea's continued seeking to love her, and draw her, she found repentance, and faithfulness and love.So God is condoning taking whores for wives?
