God swore that Israel would be His people forever, did you miss the memo?
All believers are declared to be Abraham's seed & heirs according the promise. (Gal. 3) The Israel of God. (Gal.6) Romans & Hebrews explain also. Paul in Philippians 3 states:
3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.
There are of course vast numbers of the people of Israel saved under both the OC & NC, saved for eternity.Paul in Romans:
3:3 For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?
9:6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: 7 neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. 8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.
John saw jesus in AD95, revelation book, so where was that second coming?
Have you Biblical proof of that date? I have shown there are clear Biblical reasons for a date before AD 70.
A letter of Irenaeus is commonly quoted, quoting Polycarp, written about AD 150 in Greek, & known only in an ambiguous Latin translation. Was John or his vision seen in the 90s?
the Second Coming would have happened at that time if this was correct!
Is the second coming a Biblical concept? His comings are described, not numbered, & I have shown there are personal comings for every believer; a coming in clouds to judge the tribes of Israel; & a final coming for resurrection & judgement.
the coming in His glory will be the second coming, as all eyes shall see Him, and His coming will be known to all, as lightning flashes in the sky!
I have answered those points. There is seeing & understanding.
Isaiah & Paul warned the Jews:
Isaiah 6:9 And he said, Go, and tell this people,
Hear ye indeed, but understand not;
and see ye indeed, but perceive not.
......
Acts 28:Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers, 26 saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive: 27 for the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. 28 Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.
The events of AD 70 should be seen as the fulfillment of Jesus' Olivet prophecy. Study all the "coming" references to see.
