I like listening to Paul Washer, he truly does not pull any punches. However I was listening the other day to one of his sermons on sermonaudio.com and he said something that hit me hard. I usually always agree with his getting people to check their salvation to make sure they are in the faith. This time he was speaking to a group of Jehovah Witnesses about experiencing the presence of God. He says he sometimes gets this experience for hours and hours and it is so awesome he has to ask God to remove Himself before he dies. He said this to the JWs to get them to realize they don't know God.
Now I'm not sure about you all but have you ever experienced God like that? I haven't. I have experienced God when in prayer or especially when reading scripture, but not to that extent to where I had to ask God to remove Himself because I couldn't take it any more. I have felt His peace and reassurance many times, but I'm wondering if Paul was exaggerating a little here? Or maybe I'm not where I need to be with the Lord. What say you?

About the 1:06:30 mark on Washer's audio. Listen and see if this is what you have experienced before and get back to me. Thanks!
