Thank you.

But permit me to ask. Is it that you find the scriptures silent or ambiguous on this, or you have not given it a hard thought?

Neither. I don't believe the Bible is inerrant or infallible. I believe that the Bible as we have it would consign such individuals to hell.

Is it not rather obvious that I was asking for a biblical position?

Romans 8, as God has predestined hos own o get saved, and Paul stated that tey must hear the Gospel messag for that!

Yesh! I'm impressed! You actually made an effort at it!

29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. Ro 8

I like JFB on this:

"whom he did predestinate, them he also called—The word "called" (as Hodge and others truly observe) is never in the Epistles of the New Testament applied to those who have only the outward invitation of the Gospel (as in Mt 20:16; 22:14). It always means "internally, effectually, savingly called." It denotes the first great step in personal salvation and answers to "conversion." Only the word conversion expresses the change of character which then takes place, whereas this "calling" expresses the divine authorship of the change, and the sovereign power by which we are summoned, Matthew-like, Zaccheus-like, out of our old, wretched, perishing condition, into a new, safe, blessed life."

Or Barnes:

"Them he also called - Called by his Spirit to become Christians. He called, not merely by an external invitation, but in such a way as that they in fact were justified. This cannot refer simply to an external call of the gospel, since those who are here said to be called are said also to be justified and glorified. The meaning is, that there is a certain connection between the predestination and the call, which will be manifested in due time. The connection is so certain that the one infallibly secures the other."

Not sure if this has been addressed before so please forgive me if it is repetitive.

Coming from Kenya where Christianity is less than 200 years young, and where vast parts of the country are yet to hear the gospel, this question is for ever coming up in Christian circles. My great grandparents were not Christians in any sense.

I wish to receive your views on this based on your current beliefs and understanding.

My objective is not to belittle anyone but to learn, and understand how diverse theological frameworks deal with it. So beyond voting I'd appreciate some brief rationale for your choice. You may explain your choice if it is not among what I have given.

Thank you
Joh_1:9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

Men are aware there is a creator God they know this because it is written on their hearts when they come into the world. There are men who have never heard the gospel this is true. Yet men are born with enough light to cause them to seek God. No one dies in complete ignorance of God. Even the earth's creation is a witness of God.

The three magi or wise men who came to worship Christ as the son of God were Magicians. They were astrologers, and knew of Him before they ever seen Him. They had the same light as all men have at birth. We seemingly know right from wrong even though men do not always do right.
Even American Indians before whites ever came here knew of the creator God. They called Him the Great Spirit. Seeking this knowledge of our origins will lead us to God. The wise men never heard the gospel either yet they searched until they found what they were looking for.

Deu 4:29 But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.

I can't control responses but I wish you would make a single sentence summarizing your position and then proceed to lay out its basis.

While I appreciate this answer, I don't know how it answers my question
