scriptures. The most frequently miss-understood sciptures
is the one that is a misunderstanding of the logic
of the main proof text for OSAS:

I know sfiC's wife. She put up with that drunkard for 20 years. I don't care how many times you say because he made a profession of faith in Christ, he died a drunkard and is in hell today believing in Christ and His atoning blood. Those memories will be with him for all eternity.

you just do not get it and I feel like there isnt any use trying to explain to you. But I will try...
1.You actually have to do good works.
2.You do good works because you love God
3.You do good works through faith and the power of God
4.You always trust alone in the blood of Christ
These things are ALL in the Bible and you can ACTUALLY do them all at the same time!

Let me put it in an even simpler form and maybe people might get it...
What you have to do: Good Works
Why you do good works: Because you love God
How you do good works: Through faith and by the power of God
What you must trust in alone: The atoning Blood of Christ
These are ALL in the Bible and it isnt an either/or situation. You dont choose which of these you like and toss out the rest. These are not optional, NONE of them.

I am saved because of my faith. That is why the Lord uses me to do His works.

Yes, the error is adding works to salvation and saying that we do the works as opposed to God doing them useing us.

To say you know what the Lords judgement is for somebody and what was in his heart is prideful.

The Word of God shows me what was in Charlie's heart. The Word of God tells me that a drunkard will not inherit the kingdom of heaven. Charlie died of acute ethanol toxicity. The coroner said that he had enough alcohol in him to die several times over.
No pride on my account at all. If you are afraid of telling someone that their loved one went to hell according to God's Word, then you are the one with pride, not me.

I reckon you think Paul was prideful, he said no drunkard will inherit the Kingdom.
John must have been prideful, he said all murderers will have their part in the lake which burneth with fire.
Peter must be prideful, he spoke of men reserved unto judgment.
Jesus must be prideful, He spoke of people perishing unless they repent.
If God spared not the angels for their rebellion, what makes you think He will overlook man's rebellion?

We have no right to judge anyone whether they went to Heaven or not, that belongs to God Himself and He didn't give it to us, thank God.

Just in case that is not cut and dried to you with scales over your eyes, here is one more.
