I plan to be watching and stopping about every 20 minutes or so to watch a Standardbred race at Woodbine Mohawk Park.

What do you think of Chris Wallace?

I feel he can be a tough moderator, BUT, I sense a disdain from him towards Trump, so I'll have to reserve judgment till his performance.
I would love to see someone like Walter Williams in charge; a most practical, no nonsense guy IMHO!

I have liked Wallace in the past. He seemed to be fair. I do think he has shown anti-POT:S bias at times.

In a recent interview with POT:S, he claimed BID:N did not say he would defund police (contrary to POT:S claim). He made it appear POT:S lied.

In fact, BID:N has said he would “re-allocate” funds from police, which is defunding police by another term (at least defund in part).

I lost a little respect for Wallace over that. He was taking sides and playing games with words, which a fair journalist wouldn’t do.

I also think POT:S should have been prepared to defend his assertions, one of the few times he looked off balance during an interview.

peace to you

Just curious - why do you always use a colon ( : ) instead of a letter for proper names and office ie POTUS?

Could you explain what "thwarting the algorithms" means and why it matters to you?
Some years ago, I was at the library using a computer. I “googled” something (I forget what). To my surprise, several posts from BB came up including one of mine.

Since I use my name on this site, I decided to limit the chance someone might recognize me and cause problems for me, my family or my church (I was a pastor at the time) because of something I posted.

Just trying to be “as wise as serpents and as innocent as doves.”

peace to you

Just curious, did you vote by mail to avoid doing it in person because of COVID-19 or due to being away on election day?
It started when we were going to be away on a cruise for election day years ago. When my wife became disabled, she could no longer stand in the long lines, so we just got into the habit of voting by mail. We have done so for years.

It has nothing to do with COVID.

The hard part is researching all of the candidates and amendments on your own because the newspaper doesn't publish the "cheat sheet" on candidates and issues until right before election day.

voted "other answer" - I do have a desire to hear it, but I have to leave to go out of town in an hour. so the best I can do is to catch bits and pieces of it at the airport. But I bet it will be quite a show.

Sorry, but after watching 15 minutes of these two septuagenarians going blah, blah, blah, I’ve got better things to do with my time. The Duopoly needs to do a whole lot better in 2024 if they expect me to vote for one of their major party candidates.
