Posting rules vs Catholic Christians

My wife is in a moms group who is friends with a lady who is Methodist, but husband is Catholic. I don’t know the guy well, other than playing softball with him at our local YMCA; he’s a great guy, good testimony.
Can I invite him, if he’s honest on his application? He’ll be a good asset to our community of non-Baptists.

That will be totally up to the Webmaster riverm. It is his board and his decision.

It is always good to call em like you see em.
But it only works when you see clearly.
The truth has been explained. The board rules do state that the board reserves the right to remove any members posting priviledges without warning or notice.
This is unnecessary thread space to continue to discuss this situation.
PMR, who first joined as Catholic could have discussed his reason for wanting to join the board and may have been approved and retained as long as he did not attempt to proslytize.
When his first membership was approved and he changed his denominational status afterward; then in presenting himself again and again each time altering that status somewhat that shows his willingness to circumvent the truth and deal with the board in a deceitful manner. In that then shows his purpose for coming here to not be on the level.

You don't even have your own facts straight.
You said, How was PMR banned for lying? On the first application he stated he was “Roman Catholic” and was denied, no explanation.
If this is true, how did he ever get off the first post? If he first application was denied, then he could have never posted anything.
The truth is that he lied, he is apparently lying to you now. My suspicion is that PMR was an old-timer who was previously banned. That is how he knew that Catholics would not be admitted. But he hoped that he could join under one pretense and then change it to another. He then tried it at least two more times, dishonestly.
You have simply believed the wrong person on this, and you have compromised your own integrity by repeating lies.
Now, if you don't like this board, go elsewhere. You are here at the pleasure of the Webmaster, as we all are. And you are free to start your own board. Several people from here have done just that. I would encourage you to do that. It seems that in your current emotional state, you are not able to contribute to the well-being of this board. That being the apparent case, you should go elsewhere and participate however you wish.

So in your opinion, I can invite Catholics to the Baptist Board, as longs as they are forth coming on their application and no prejudice will be shown simply because they are Catholic?

Yes, IMO you can do that. There will be no prejudice whatsoever shown. They will simply not be allowed to join at this time. Saying someone cannot join here does not mean there is prejudice, unless you have changed the meaning of the word prejudice.
It means that their theology and practice is sufficiently different from the webmaster's so as to cause problems.
This rule is no longer "unwritten." It has been clearly expressed.
But the Webmaster makes the final decision on these matters. Address any further questions to him.
