“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” (John 3:36)

Meaning they will see the wrath of God on judgment day. Not sure why that needs explaining.

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” (Acts 10:38)

Considering that ANY other scheme other than the Chilian/premillennial view (not Darby premillennialism) was the standard teaching of the earliest church fathers, WHY would some even consider something created from a person who was disturbed by the events of the political system of their day and set aside Scripture truth and create a lie?

A lie that so very many (by setting aside the Scriptures or by assigning a lesser view to the Scriptures) set aside even in this day?

I had one "professor" in a Bible department who literally discredited all John's writing except the gospel because he "was old and senile." He obviously was in stages of dementia, and wrote randomly from a distorted view of Old Testament prophecy."

Unbelievable what some will grab on to just to deny the truth of what is in the Revelations.

John is VERY specific that the binding of Satan FOLLOWS the return of the King of Kings.

Satan is not bound anytime before then. Scriptures teach that Satanic authorities go about seeking (searching, stalking) any they may devour until Satan is bound AFTER the PHYSICAL return of Christ. NOT before. Scriptures teach that believers are to be watchful that they are not swept away by satanic doctrines.

We are ambassadors, and our citizenship (adopted sons) is from heaven, not of this earth. One is not an ambassador while they dwell in the land of their citizenship. The ambassador serves to represent the land of their citizenship in a foreign place.

Certainly Satan is released for "a season" but there is no battle, no threat to the "kingdom." Not even a single shot fired. Satan gathers and time stops. What we consider all things physical is no more. The judgement of the individuals before The God takes place. Eternity never ends, never repeats, does not have a clock, and never grows old.

The Kingdom of our Lord is coming. He did not bring it with Him at the first advent, but He will according to the statements of John will bring the kingdom when He returns and establishes it for a millennium on this earth.

"THY Kingdom Come..." is not a declaration that the kingdom arrived with Christ. HE stated, "My kingdom is not of this world." The power extracted from this world. The authority systems of this world... That is why when He returns He is adorned with the banner, "King of Kings..." Believers are IN this world but not OF this world. We are ambassadors of the kingdom that will be brought to this world at His physical return.

Again, He BRINGS the kingdom with Him upon his return. Those believers who remained alive at His return will be changed and rise to join that RETURNING King and His Kingdom as it is brought to this earth. WE will rule WITH Him. We see NO time in history in which believers have such authority. Not a single time. Such happens ONLY upon His return bringing His kingdom with Him, just as John stated.

From that point on, the King rules over this earth. He rules with that rod of iron. There are sever consequences for disobedience. He is not gracious, and He is not tolerant. He is the righteous King. The new heaven and earth are revealed as the old heaven and earth are no more. The kingdom continues with no temple, no sun to give light, no marriages, ... in that glorious new place.

ANY "scheme" other than what the earliest church fathers taught is heretical. The Apostles were shown ALL truth, but even the apostle Paul admitted that he as an apostle (small "a") could only perceive what amounted to shadows as he looked through the window to the future. He was an apostle not an Apostle.

So John wrote, very specifically, that the folks could know in very specific terms.

I'm a pre-millennialist. Biblical is Biblical. What did I miss?
So....you believe Jesus is ruling in the Kingdom right now as I do?
You believe the rapture is the last day?
You believe Jerusalem on earth is no longer the Holy City?

What I offered is biblical. If a person is pre mill they would find fault with it.
I could
Didn’t you find fault, as I did, with “Darby” dispensationalism that also holds to a pre-wrath rapture?

But did you not consider the Chilian/premillennial teaching as that the earliest church fathers taught?

The King is ruling in His kingdom right now. However, His kingdom has yet to be brought to this earth as John describes it comes prior to the millennial reign.

Do you not agree that John is very specific as to when the second coming occurs, how it occurs and what manner it occurs?

When in all earthly history has any such coming occurred?

Jerusalem on earth is not the holy city for believers. It will be, but in the current use and time, it is not.

Historic premill is not as disturbing. Each view offers a solution but I have shifted in my understanding a bit.

Not certain if you meant if one was premillennial they could find fault with your presentation, or find fault with you considered biblical.
